I just found this Dingy Tart spewing misinformation ... Where do they find these people?
I'd have thought that was pretty self evident. Any time the government is actually DOING something, there's somebody spending a ton to push an agenda. They aren't your friends, and they only work for us on paper. In the real world it's about payola, and the ones who are paying the most will see policies changed to match their agenda. The dissenting voices will be ignored or hand waved away, and the drooling mass of sheeple will accept the hand waving as fact just because someone in authority did the waving. Welcome to America, we have fun and games...

I tried to watch it, I really did. But I have zero, maybe NEGATIVE tolerance for stupid people. She needs to go back to fashion and boys.

I mean REALLY? WTH? LOL![]()
Yeah, her metier is definitely fashion and boys... and maybe weight-loss; looked like she could do with a bit of that. She clearly hasn't got the slightest ability to discern truth from bottom-line-serving BS.

Progressives..I will never understand the mindset. OMG here I go getting into trouble already. shhhh lol![]()
I often ask myself this question BUT, I went to a conference in France where there were discussions about how powerful the internet could become over the next decade IF people pull together.
Consider the future... the internet should have the power to make or break even the biggest corporations and/or political control. People (it was suggested) don't believe this yet.. but I am convinced.
There IS hope.
(Isn't there?)![]()
The bickering and arguing will stop please. If you need to debate politics (or any other topic), take it to the Outside.
Thank you.
This is a political thread, it was from the original title and content moving through each post. If this is the wrong place for this discussion then it should have been moved or deleted at the outset or, perhaps, never posted originally. What else but political discussion would anyone expect with the title: Big Tobacco proposes open container tank ban for e-liquid?
Thank you.
Heh. I consider myself a progressive in many ways. But real progress would be the gov't butting OUT of people's private lives. You know there's been a lot of back and forth in recent years about how sacrificing freedom to gain security is quite anti-American-ideal. It's also true about sacrificing freedom to gain a Big Governmental Nanny.
Thomas Jefferson has been one of my foremost personal heroes for many years, mainly because of the brilliance of the Declaration of Independence, and the elegant, piercing clarity of its language, but he had another truly brilliant idea -- that the gov't which governs LEAST, governs best.
He's spinning in his grave now, I'm quite certain.

If BT won, wouldn't this be like a monopoly? BT gets to control everything by eliminating the competition. Isn't that is illegal..
There are many non-BT products that would most likely be able to meet the " 2007 predicate product" date.
NJoy for sure being as they are the product being predicated.
GreenSmoke, V2, Apollo, White Cloud, South Beach,,,,the cigalikes.

Are these companies large enough to even be considered a competition though?
