It's much easier to Wick the 2nd time around. And this time I made sure to wet the wick. Plus I'm letting it sit for a few minutes before I try it LOL no more dry hits for me.

I have mixed up some liquid specifically for the Vladdin, flavor is present now. (and it's 50 mg)
I hear you. Using DNAs, RTAs, and RDAs on squonkers here. And they are drinking down like 500ml of juice monthly. And the MyBlu isn't bad at all. And I'll probably have one in my pocket all of the time (or a Vladdin). And I don't think I could vape down more than 100ml monthly on a MyBlu/Vladdin.

Well after a day and a half with MyBlu, I see what Puffcat and Katdarling are talking about. As the more times you pull the pod in and out (I'm sure I pulled and inserted my first pod way over 50 times), The pod is not held in place by the dimples on the battery anymore. In fact, it easily falls out now. A new pod solves the problem.
And it isn't a problem with the pins not making a connection. As they are long. The problem is the draw no longer draws airflow through the actuator inside of the battery. But up and outside of the pod instead. As the pod isn't pressed against that air seal anymore. So the device thinks you are hardly drawing and gives you a very weak vape.

Thanks for the explanation. I hadn't understood before...perhaps not reading carefully. I was clearly having this problem.
After reading your post, I installed one wrap of Scotch tape around the pod and reinserted it. That seems to work...at least for a few puffs so far.

One thing that comes to mind is turning the pod around. I sometimes do this with my Suorin Drop. I won't be getting a good draw from the Drop but I turn the pod around and it works fine. I don't know if this will help with the Myblu but it's easy to try. My Myblu is working at present but if I make any progress on a fix, I'll share it.
Here's an old closed thread about the My Von Erl. Since the My Von Erl and MyBlu are the same thing, most of everything there applies to to MyBlu too. Also things like images of the complete teardown, rebuilding pods, etc. are there too.
The draw activation on one of my batteries is acting flaky today... flakier than normal. I've previously used the battery and had just freshly charged it. I have no idea how many times I've used it since I have a lot of the batteries. Pod works fine on another battery.

I actually like the 555 tobacco flavor. I'm used to 2-3mg...this 24mg kicks like a mule. As long as I keep the puff light, I could see this being usable for stealth vapes. Of course, I could just break out one of my old Ego batts and an Evod...
Yeah, an ego and evod would be as small or smaller than some of these pods and more usable. Folks are looking for more kick now tho, can't get that from a low wattage old setup.
Glad someone else gets a 555 taste from these, I thought it was just me. And you’re right about the 24mg, I just refilled with an 18mg and it makes a big difference.
First day refilling the empty pods. I went with a 50/50 and so far no leaks or dry hits. But it’s day one, and we all know how that can go.
I thought Nic salts were supposed to have a much more mild throat hit and that’s why they can be used at such higher percentages?
This has a hell of a throat hit, just like any other 24 mg liquid I’ve ever used. I still say they are not salts.
For the record, all liquid over 12mg does that to my nose, haha, and I’ve never tried Nic salts to compare.
The current pods are not nic salts. Blu is releasing a nice salt line of pods sometime this month.
Maybe some Gold Leaf is freebase and some are salt? I only used 3 pods so far of Gold Leaf. Plus I am vaping Banana Cream and Orange Dream 24mg freebase right now with no effect on my nose whatsoever. Yet Gold Leaf and this Strawberry Milk 50mg salt burns my nostrils.
Wouldn't be the first time a manufacture had to switch to another supplier. And how often have we read: "All specifications are subject to change without notice."
