Also how many people have no need to come here and post anything because their device is working perfectly. Usually you'll find more people willing to post when they have a problem than when they don't. I bet many issues with leaking can be chalked up to the idea of it being able to hold 40 drops, thats a far shot...I drip 15 and no problems..there is the air hole post in the center that I bet if you put 40 drops in and tilt it to vape you now have your liquid going over the top of the airhole and down into your connection.
This may be true, but it appears that the out of the box failure rate is at least 6%. All of the leakage is coming from the same point, the positive post seal. Most haven't changed coils yet, and one needs to put significant pressure on the seal whether they rock it on and off or snap it on and off.
A 6 % failure rate isn't acceptable, and I'm guessing over time (a few weeks, several coil changes, etc.) that rate is going to climb significantly.
Sure, I can get mine not to leak by leaving it on it's side, vaping with the pv horizontal and only putting 10-15 drops in and making sure I keep the unit very tilted when dripping, but that's not what was advertised nor is it what we paid for, and that isn't what was hyped on this forum.
Are we going to simply keep accepting even 6% out of box failure rates or products that last only a few coil changes before not working as advertised?
If we do, we deserve what we get.
