2.4-2.6 can work well and definitely 2.6-2.8. On this latest shipment we had to drop an ohm to simplify the order and we chose 2.8-3.0. We may bring it back on a future order, not sure.

If I vape at 3.7 volts and want to stay at 3.7 volts, which one would I get ? Because I don't understand all the info about which one to choose.

I just got in my GotVapes FLüXomizer™ CE2-X CLEAR KR808 XL 1.8ml 2.6-2.8ohm 5-pack. They came with a neat little instruction card on how to fill them, but the pictures are kind of small. I watched the video from post #1 of this thread, but it doesn't show how to fill, plus the clearomizer in the video is not the same as mine (mine only have 2 wicks, I'm assuming these are the "fat wicks"). Can anyone point me to a video showing how to fill? Also, what's the advantage/disadvantage of leaving the top ring out? Thnx!

Hi...you don't need to take the fill ring out (this is what I assume you mean by top ring) in fact I'd advise against that, All you need to do is fill through one of the two fill holes in that filler ring. They come included with a plastic tip needle that will work fine but some people find they tend to bend, with that you still need a syringe you can attach that needle.

You can get a syringe from some place local and we also sell the syringe kits and bottle applicator kits that come with a blunt tip that work well...

yw! If you didn't order a filling option you can get a syringe at local drugstore usually for free if you ask them, especially if you are not needing or ask for a needle...also places like Tractor Supply Store sell them (or order a kit next time you place an order on GotVapes)

Thanks dannoman! I had a feeling that's what those 2 little holes were for :)

What degrades on these? I am vaping my first set of black XL fluxes. Yesterday I threw out my first one and switched to a second. Using a beer analogy, they seem to decay though the days. I am using a regulated 3.2v ego batt with GV chocolate strawbeery juice.

Day 1: like a nice malty Scottish ale. Full of flavor, borderline too much, and oh so good.
Day 2: like a smooth brown ale. Still good, but not blowing me away any more.
Day 3: like a British mild. Passable, but where is my flavor?
Day 4: like a Miller. Wow, there is nothing there anymore.
Day 5: like a Bud light. Why am I even drinking this?
Day 6: like tap water. Hey, I like water, but I wanted a beer.

Why do these decay? What can I do to reverse the loss of oomph? Am I just imagining things?

Many thanks,
Marty

No stupid questions here...

Dry burning is when you rinse and dry the carto out so there is no juice in the carto or on the wick.

Then you connect the carto to the battery and hold down your power button to "Burn" off the built up gunk on the atomizer coil wire.

It's best to do it slowly. Hold the power button for say 3 seconds. Get some smoke, let it cool for 3 seconds then repeat. Sooner or later no smoke will appear and the coil wire will start to glow orange.

Once the wire glows orange, you basicaly done. Be VERY careful at this stage because this is when you can fry the Carto. Don't hold the power button for more than 3 seconds once the coil is glowing orange. Now you just refill and put a drop on the coil/wick as a primer. This should restore your carto to what it was when it was new.

Do an ECF search for "E2 Dry Burn" or just "Dry Burn". There are tons of vids out there.

Hi Aaron-one thing people do is flip the tubes to an end that is not cracked.

We are comign out with an eco-mod glue that can also, thoeretically be 'smeared' over a crack to seal it and maybe extend its life somewhat...

OMG- DUH- BLONDE moment... Geeze- why didnt I think of this.... I swear- its the M & M factory all over again.....

I got a question- how do you transport yours?
I prefer to have 4 or 5 filled if I have to leave the house- I fill 4 or 5 carto's in the morning and thats what I vape all day- (and refil as needed)

I use a drip tip- so I take out the white plug thing with the teeny hole. The rubber washer thing, and just leave the 'cap' - But my juice leaks out when I travel with them.

I even put the condom sleeves on them from other carto's. It just leaked iNTO these-

I was almost caught in town yesterday, over an hour from home, shopping with 4 kids AND my husband without juice.

Just the thought makes me sick to my stomach.

I dont wanna have to tote around a hercules hook (what I have found removes the plugs PERFECTLY) all the time cause i put the plug back in, nor do I relish bringing a syringe and such with me.

say quittin4mykids it sound like the cap seals are not all the way on or are crooked or some such. If this is the case the would be a small gap on each side above the wick caused by the wick not filling the slot completely. Try fluffing up the wick right where it goes into the cup so it fills the whole slot and make sure the cap seal touches the wick but doesn't squash it down. I hope this helps.

unloaded lookup 3ml bd syringe mod with a little effort you should be able to convert them. Steel ce2 are a little better for the mod anyhow as they should have the larger cap seal that you want for the syringe tube. The clears went to a smaller seal that does not work as well in the mod. Good luck!

This has been my issue since I started with the CE2's....they have to be kept upright or the juice leaks and atty floods! I have no problem when I go out for two or three hours, as I fill an XL clearo and stick it in my lanyard, which hangs around my neck (obviously keeping it upright)!

BUT....went to the beach last week, and I was stressing! I filled an XL clearo....I left the fill cap on (with 2 tiny holes for filling), and put the top cap on. I also put two condoms on, then wrapped it in about 4 tissues (figuring I'll need them to blow out the atty), and then sealed it all in a small snack size zip lock baggie and put it in my little case! A few hours later, I took the whole thing apart....nothing had leaked; however, when I took off the condoms, juice was everywhere, and atty was majorly flooded!

So YEAH, me too....I'd like to know how you all transport your CE-2's and not have a mess!
