ok here is a silly question: was the ce2 and liquid nice and cold in your house when you filled it but then outside in a hot sunny environment ie the beach when it all leaked out? During this climate change the juice would both expand and become more runny perhaps if the ce2 was inverted as this happened it would cause some juice to leak out. If it is enough juice it could cause a capillary action drawing the rest of the juice out too...
Just a thought...

So YEAH, me too....I'd like to know how you all transport your CE-2's and not have a mess!

That's easy! Just use one of these! :) It would look pretty hot with a bikini too! LOL

just sayin :)

This particular XL was in the shade, in my beach bag....of course, it was much 'warmer' in there cause there was no air flow!

But here's one for you that still has me stumped! Another beach day last week....had my regular clearo hanging on my neck in my lanyard...it NEVER got laid on it's side or fell over (believe me, I watched it like a hawk when I took it off my neck), and it was NEVER in the sun either! All is well until I decide to take a peek and see how much juice is left....ok, let me take it apart and fill it! So as I was filling it down the sides, juice was dripping out the bottom through the center (I know how to fill a CE2)! I was NOT happy, and could not figure out why! So I packed that one up and pulled out an old standby dripomizer....YUCK was that nasty!!!

Make a long story short, when I got home, I attempted to fill that regular clearo again through the fill hole with syringe....still dripping out the bottom center! I ended up tossing it cause I figured I'll never figure out what caused it to malfunction the way it did!

We do the beach a lot in the summer....so I'm still looking for my 100% NON-LEAKING solution!!!

I purchase a pack of the XL size and gave them a good test as I am also a Carto man.

The first thing I did was follow the suggestion that the inner (White keyed) fill ring can be removed for drip filling. I did this and I could not for the life of me get that ring back into original position and therefore was never able to put my eGo on its side. - It leaked all over.

I then took the following 4 out and filled each one the way the gotvapes says with the needle. That seemed to work at first but as soon as my juice got warm after a couple of toots (Sorry Grim) it would start to leak from the battery connection. and again if put on its side the fluid would leak from the top like the first.

Also the suggestion of flipping it upside down to re-wet the wicks/atty made the juice flood into my drip tip. I gave these an honest try and tryed to use thicker liquid to solve the leaking problem.

Bottom line this idea is noble but it needs TONS more work to get to the reliability of a Boge/Smok tech carto as They NEVER leak.

This is my review on the Fluxomizer/clearomizer

I love the deals on gotvapes but will be skipping any clearo/fluxo anything untill they have been fully tested and leak free.

If I may, I'd really like to share a few tips on using the GotVapes FLüXomizer's Clearomizer that I've learned, that should help other noobs! I've done the carts (various mods), dripping, tank and carto's....and I've always gone back to carto's! I just love them....BUT when I finally got the hang of the Flux's, I realized nothing was better to capture the full flavor of the juice without fillers of any form, and this is why I've decided to throw these simple tips out there!

I honestly feel, first and foremost, that if you are brand new to CE2's and Flux's, that you immediately learn how to take the Flux apart and put it back together, BEFORE adding any juice to it! This is probably 98% of the learning curve right here, and it's so simple! Please watch the video that Badkolo did on this here:

YouTube - CE2 Clearomizer Easy fill plug & Tube removal How-to Gotvapes.com

Once you got this part down, here are some additional tips:

  • Always screw your battery on to your Flux, and NOT screw the Flux on to your battery...this keeps the tube in place!
  • Use a standard drip tip...it will also cool down the vape, if needed! Yes, the eGo Cone fits over this beautifully!
  • No need to use syringe to fill...go ahead and remove the fill plug and simply drip (at 45-degree angle) slowly down the insides, just as if you were filling a carto from the battery end at a 45-degree angle! Then pop the fill plug back on (flat side UP, facing drip tip) and pop drip tip back on! It takes me less than 2 minutes, from start to finish, to fill the Flux! Do NOT drip down the center...it will come out the battery end! May I add I like to leave the inner fill ring on and just wedge it up a bit with a small jeweler's screwdriver to pull up off the wicks entering the cup...then use our Bottle Filler Kit or Syringe Kit , both with Firm steel blunt tip, to fill through the holes - Mod Note
  • Wiggle parts (tube, inner caps, drip tip, etc...) to remove or take apart...do NOT pull! Gentle will do it no harm! If you use a Cone, either remove your drip tip first or hold the drip tip in place while pulling lightly on the Cone to get it off completely.
  • To clean?....screw your battery on to the Flux and gently wiggle tube off! Then unscrew Flux from battery and rinse under HOT water! Be VERY gentle with the wicks...I only touch them with a paper towel when I am drying them after cleaning, and I only pat to dry! Put everything back together and do 2 or 3 quick dry burns!
  • Getting to the end of your juice? Just flip your Flux over for 2 or 3 seconds to allow the juice to soak the wicks, then vape as normal! Every drop will be used...nothing will be wasted!
  • DO NOT suck in when vaping or you might get a mouth full of juice...slow and easy does it!
  • ohm confusion? 2.6-2.8 ohm's will be MUCH warmer than a cooler 3.0-3.2 ohm

In my opinion, this is pretty much a great out-of-box experience! There is no need to do any modding whatsoever, unless you're into it!

If anyone has any other tips to add to this, please do! I hope this helps all newbies to the Flux's make their initial experience a very positive one! Thank you for allowing me to post this! Danno and Chris?...you guys are the best!!!!!!

PS - I wish I would have had a cheat sheet like this when my first Flux Clearomizer's arrived! I was in tears and ready to throw them all away! But I didn't give up...so happy I was persistent in making them work for me!

Happy Vaping to All...

That was a great video bad did. I thought the fluxomizers I got were unusable. I got burnt taste right away, so they have just been sitting there (until that video). Pulled the wick up and put more on the coil, and voila!

Thanks to you I don't feel the burn taste anymore =)

:laugh::vapor:
Also, like some others have said, just inverting the silicone cup (wick slots facing upward) works and seals fine. That way you can chain vape as much as you want (granted the CE2 is more than half full, just because it takes a while to wick upwards after that)

Gack. That being said, mine now leak when laid down on their sides. Also (if it helps) i've got vapor going into the juice tank, so I must not be sealed right somewhere...

Cutting the cup seal slots into a /\ is less prone to leakage that flipping the cup seal upside down.

Also. New seals don't seal as well as old seals. So if you are going to do the "Upside Down Cake" thing with the cup seal, try soaking the seals in your e-Liquid for a day or so.

That or use old seals from old CE2's.

Figured so I just switched em back over. Ima cut em later. What did you mean by soaking for a day though?

Oops... Meant to say "soak the seals" in e-Liquid for a day or so. Cruse having Fat Fingers.

The seals tend to swell slightly when there in contac with e-Liquid. Bigger seals means a tighter seal.

Gotcha. Too lazy for that though :D Could you take a side by side pic of a stock silicone seal and one where you cut it? I don't wanna over do it. Lol

or something worse lol if the seal seems small you can get another seal from a metal ce2. depending on which version clearo you have some had smaller seals then others. as far as i know the metal ones always have the orignal larger size cup seals. if you do the BD syringe tube mod the smaller seals dont work as well...
