I might try this over the weekend, but maybe good to have a few people try it also.
I think the best way to compare two wicks are.... by using them side by side. A dripper with dual coil. One side with Organic cotton and other side with Rayon. This would eliminate any possible discrepancy and make it easy to compare.

How would you compare with the 2 running at the same time?

Oh, I should have mentioned that the test would be mainly to watch how wicks behave over time. So far, the flavor differences seem to be small (Rayon being bit more cleaner). So the focus is on how they "age" over usage. Do they run cleaner? Help coil stay cleaner?.. etc

At this point, I am completely switched over to Rayon, but I figured this type of visual comparison might be helpful to folks still on the fence.

It's called reinforced and no you don't want that. Although someone tried it and said maybe it's just a thread that runs along the rayon, you remove it and that's it. But to be safe don't get the reinforced one.

The only difference on the reinforced stuff is theres a strip of paper in the middle of it.. just remove it and its EXACTLY the same..

took me forever to find that information out.. I have both and they vape exactly the same..

This was posted today in the rayon thread.

Thanks for posting this I was able to get some of each cotton to try. Was going to wait till I went to town for the Rayon but couldn't find any KGD in stock anywhere. Now I can get enough of both to last until I either go to town or or it is in stock depending on which I like more.

I just picked some up on ebay. 3.99 for 6 feet. And a fellow vapor bought a box of 500ft and is sending me a bunch for free. First of all, I have to say the flavor is out of this world. It also has been instrumental in getting my authentic Squape to work flawlessly. I had so many problems getting the cotton just right...too much and it would burn, too little and it would leak. I went to adding a flavor wick, but after a half a tank it would still leak.

Learning that you could really cram the cellucotton into a coil and not worry about burn, I loaded my coil up tight (not so tight you have to fight with it) and it's been AMAZING. No leaking, best flavor.

I have tons of organic cotton in raw and wick form. It's going to get used anyway for certain builds. I prefer the cotton for my nimbus and I like the braided wick for threading into my origen v2, but I will be using the cellucotton for all my other builds until the cotton is all used up (100 years from now). LOL.

As for safety, some say yes some say no but the way I see it is, I absolutely won't use silica because I got some of those threads in my throat once and it was pure hell. So it's got to be safer than that.
