Are you sure it's not the nicotine level? You also could have or be developing an allergy to alcohol.

That wuzz my thought. I've heard the alcohol burns off much like in cooking but don't know. I know I am allergic to alcohol lol. I break out in big spots. Like Las Vegas, New Orleans, Atlanta.

That joke is so old, I think it must have been an original by Bill W.

Tutoring report.

The girl went first. We read the 2 little books from school. They are getting harder now, with more words she doesn't know. She read one of the Fly Guy books. Then we had 2 competitive word searches. The first one, the boy won, and the 2nd, when he saw he was losing, he quit. I said, "Don't be a quitter." He said, "I am a quitter. I quit!" I took up where he left off, and the girl won. I wonder if I could beat her even if we started even.

Then I had the boy read about bison. Lots of words he didn't know. The girl listened in, and then they both had to answer questions about it. That was a bit more challenging than the reading comprehension exercises they had been doing. Prairie dogs were mentioned, and neither of them knew what one was, so I printed out something about them with questions on it for next time.

We ended with a Mad Libs.

Nic's almost at 0, and yes, I've always been uber-sensitive to alcohol (it's an Asian thing). But this is the first time I've used Lorann by itself, full blast. I'm about 1/2 into 600ml of the same base, and this is the first time I've gotten flushed from vaping, so I'm thinking it's the flavoring.

Just tried some more of the Piña Colada (after being uncapped for about 6 hours) and it's much better. No more flushies (well, just a little bit now)! Thanks, Q! :)

...but I've had better Piña Colada juice, so I'll probably just not use Lorann's anymore after these 3 flavors are gone (Cheesecake, Cream Cheese Icing :p - I like Vapor Bomb's Cream Cheese better anyway).

Hey all... sorry I was on again/off again so quick. I had a pretty rushed day... First I had to wait for a check (snail mail) then I had to rush to the bank, cash it, buy some tires, have them put on, ordered my new iClear (can't wait to try it!!!), went to Wally World(Wal-Mart), bought new leashes(retractable and reflective regular)and harness for Bruno, went to Mickey D's(McDonalds) and finally came home all before the storms hit! Phew!

Drinking Mint tea and ready to go walk Bruno.

    Celtic, I love this:

I have the version that has a headstrap that you wear around your head, that I use when I have to fix stuff (like my car, or electrical work in rafters/garage). Comes in handy when I ride my bike too.

But I've gotten out of brownouts more often with my tiny wind-up flashlight that I keep in my car.

Not very bright, but always works and NO BATTERIES!

I'm afraid of the dark, can you tell?

Looks pretty good. I just gotta review all these recommendations and choose one....

OK I really, really like that building! I would live in it, you know, if it was far away from that cemetery! :p
Kinda like a mini-castle, huh? And yeah, living so close to a cemetery is pretty creepy. We lived about a mile away from one when I was little, and I still think they get up, walk around and pay a visit late at night! ...which is OK, as long as I'm not within walking distance, right?

Yeah, That's why I was scared of walking up and down the road at night when I visited my Gramma in NY. There was a cemetery right behind her house that I would play in during the day. There was a monument of a lion with red jeweled eyes that i would sit on, but at night the eyes would glow!!!!!

I was only 5 or 6 when I saw this so at the time I didn't understand it was the glow from a street lamp...

Hi Cindy.... since you use nearly 0 nic maybe you could answer a question for me. I use 12mg base so after adding flavors the mgs are lower. A few days ago I made a small amount with no nic in it at all. Almost no flavor! So I doubled the flavor. Now it's still a weaker flavor than when I make the recipe with nic in the base and it's also sweeter. Is this normal?

I'm just experimenting to see if I get cravings while vaping 0 nic. Just surprised at the lack of flavor and curious about it. The base I'm using is 65pg/35vg.

    Good morning, Voltians -

Looks like a busy day at the old ranchero for me. Weeding, fencing, planting - I'm vowing to just do the best I can and not go overboard:)

I don't know if the trainer is coming today. I haven't gotten the harness yet but I was thinking that we could walk Nevada around the circle driveway with the cart rolling next to him and possibly see if he will accept the bit.

I alos vape low nic. How much do you usually use? For most flavors I use 1ml per 10 ml. If you want to use 0mg juices, just use whatever amount of flavoring gives you the best flavor. But remember, too much can also be a problem. I generally use TFA. With their apple I use 1.5 ml with < .25 holiday spice for a spiced cider.

Living next to a cemetery isn't bad at all. My closest neighbors are all deceased. And VERY quiet. I like it!

I've been worried about Celti and Evie with all of the tornadoes in the South. Such a tragedy for so many. Hope everyone is staying safe.

I've had a busy, convoluted weekend and needed an extra day just to get my bearings and to rest. My weekend started with a trip to the ER. The BF whisked me off within ten minutes of arriving at my place. It's not any big thing, but I have a viral thang goin' on and have ever since the day after the Hug gave me a visit. It must have weakened my immune system and opened the door - inviting in the boogeyman.

I looked at it as an opportunity to assess the current quality of medical care at the local hospital. Their staff rating has not improved one iota since I last entrusted them with my late husband's care. Doctors are still arrogant and unknowledgable. The Nurses are still overworked and underappreciated. Anyhow, I have the antivirals to fight back and my fever is going down. I don't believe in reducing fevers with nsaids unless they get dangerously high. The body needs to fight back with heat sometimes, and I let it do its thing unless it gets outta hand.

The BF knows me and didn't let me hunker down. He kept me busy for the weekend. We hunted morels without finding any of our elusive quarry - taking frequent breaks to rest. We watched my flying freeloaders upon our return. Two eagles seem to be hanging out here regularly. Sure hope that Terry gets to see them when she arrives. Is it May yet? :D I saw my first hummingbird of the season and the first Northern (Baltimore) oriole. That's a rose-breasted grosbeak on the right.

Saturday night we joined in on a Breaking Ground Bonfire at my son's home site. We roasted brats, corn on the cob, and bodaciously large marshmallows. Then Dave used a laser level to set the depths for the digging to take place the next morning while his fiance and my daughter practiced using a splitting maul. There was a bout of grape vine swinging in there too. It was a lot of fun. Even our adopted feral cat, Tez enjoyed the festivities.

On Sunday the BF and I put in 150 daffodil bulbs that he'd forgotten to put in last fall. They were sprouting in the bag. I also put in 16 asparagus plants. We took a couple trips down to the build site to see how things were progressing and I took some photographs. The kids are so excited that they don't know what to do with themselves. Progress finally!!

The first trench (and my thumb)

Dave's fiance documenting progress from a precarious perch. She's like a monkey!

My son and his fiance in the first trench

So! I'm alive and well and just about to head off into the woods. Those morels can't outrun me forever!! :glare:
