I hope that you stay safe, Evie. I hope that the storms go away, far away.
That's good that you have all your batteries charged.

I'm happy that you are prepared, but I will still worry about you.![]()

I've got through 2 storms today. Expecting another one later tonight. Schools are letting out tomorrow at 12:00. Expecting severe weather tomorrow, and I have all my batteries charged and a supply of batteries to last me over 2 weeks without charging.I won't let a tornado stop me from vaping again.

I have to get a ride to town tomorrow to buy tires. I have two flats and a baldie
Yeah thankfully I was at home when they went flat.
I am definitely gonna get lithium batts. and an pricier FL. I'm gonna look and see if Duracell makes a lithium batt. Duracell makes my favorite alkaline battery. Y'all have given me plenty to consider. Thank Y'all.
EDIT: Yesss! Duracell has lithium. Now I gotta figure out if I want rechargeable or just 'toss away'. And the type of FL I want.![]()
I'm a big fan of Duracell for alkaline but I've had a lot better luck with Eveready for lithium. I used to go through a lot camping with my Scouts. Flashlights, GPS etc. I miss my Scout leader daze.
I have to agree with Wuzz again.I use Energizer Ultimate Lithium batts. I think those are Eveready. I use Duracell and alkaline Eveready for everything else.
They're definitely getting pricey Celtic. I still spring for the best ones I can buy though. El cheapos can tear up your equipment and don't last long. I carry a super bright pocket flashlight that takes two tripple a's. (Cause I'm old and can't see for beans) I use it several times a day for this and that as well as quite a bit at night. A pair of the lithium lasts about nine months to a year of moderate to heavy use. A pair of alkaline Duracells lasts four to six months. Cree and led bulbs don't seem to eat up batteries like regular ones do. My lights use a similar regulator to an e cig to keep the light constant. It stays bright throughout the charge. The downside to that is when it goes out it leaves you in the dark lol. Not much warning.

Sure not any light around these woods except the moon and stars. On a cloudy night you can't see your hand in front of your face lol.

Dang Casey. It's been a long time since anybody agreed with me twice in the same day.
