What's with the cough cough and the date? Are you trying to say I'm late in noticing the name change?

Sorry Uncle but my post was right above yours so I didn't know what you were trying to say. It will NEVER happen again. :D

It sure is quiet in here. I think I could hear a pin drop. :p

Did anybody notice that Voltville is back in the thread title?

'Tis awfully quiet in here. The quiet before the storm? No wait - the storms are NON-STOP! :glare:

Yeah - I noticed.

It doesn't feel like it but I'm sure ready for it.

Take heart. The BF saw a cornfield full of sandhill cranes huddling up like football players. They don't like winter and generally don't come back early. And yesterday, I heard a robin outside. I'm hoping against hope that our winter has just about burnt itself out because it has used so much energy so fast. I'm clinging to that hope! :nun:

Are you in for another storm? 8-o It's 48 degrees here and I have my front door open. That hasn't happened all winter so maybe Spring is just around the corner. Once we get past Feb. it should be smooth sailing after that. I hope your birds are good indicators.

Let's put it this way: Outta the next eleven days, only three do not call for the possibility or liklihood of snow, freezing rain, or rain. On the bright side, the temperatures will be a lot higher. :thumb: It'll be interesting.

3 days out of 11. Not good. :( BUT...the weather forecasters can't even predict tomorrow so maybe it won't be that bad. One can hope. ;)

 Oh wow! That's certainly intriguing!

Celti - I've been wondering if you are feeling the effects of Winter Storm Pax? Be careful out there! It's gonna be ugly for a lotta folks down South.

Yeah - That was minus fourteen alright. I really feel sorry for my son who has to work outdoors all day. My only difficulty is constantly hauling in firewood and feeding the fire. My back is not happy with such activities - at all. But, things are supposed to warm up considerably next week into the mid-to-upper 50's and bring on day after day of rain. Guess what my creek is gonna do. View attachment 305069

I really enjoy your training and driving stories. It's funny how you describe what they seem to be thinking and your response. How are the new pups?

Ohmygosh! These are incredible! The linear and angular natures of some of the lines is amazing to me. What makes it do that? I like your application of color too.

What a horrible thing to have been worried about for so long. :(

We got lots of ice covering all the trees and grass but the roads are still very clear. limbs and trees are going down everywhere but we are very safe as all the trees are far from the house.

    I'm baaack!

We haven't had an ice storm, either. It's been too cold for freezing rain, mostly. But on the car radio this evening, they are warning about another big snowstorm on its way. I hope it comes later in the day, as the Internet weather says, because I wanted to go see Penny in the morning.

I just got back from tutoring and then a big grocery shopping spree.

I'll be back to tell about tutoring after I eat dinner, which is cooking now.

Then you must have only read about a third of the first book because it was all about kinky. That guy Gray was a control freak and I hate control freaks....kinky too. :glare:

Well I can spoil it for ya if no one objects... for now let's say he had alotta issues but got to be really nice in the end. I did only read about a third... sheesh and they are supposedly making a movie out of it... Not gonna watch it.

I wondered if she would change him. I'm not going to finish the book and I'm certainly not going to watch the movie.

See I read romance but not that other stuff and I ended up with it in a bundle of books I got thru... ahem some people who can get in trouble for sharing...and ended up reading it before I knew what was what... My curiosity about the main storyline beat my sweet innocence.View attachment 305241

I heard about it in another thread. They kept bringing it up and cracking jokes and I didn't know what the hell they were talking about so I bought it. My curiosity always gets the best of me. That was money down the :censored:er.
