Wuzz, that's just asking for trouble! What a scamp you are!

She expects no less of me Sandy.

Especially two days of it. Its too much. We arent getting along either so we've stopped til dark and will drive thru the night. Damn Geo. Its been over heating and we arent even at the rockys yet. I may never leave Rave. Going back we will be driving into the sun. :(

Better stop off at a WalMart and pick up a case or two of gallons of water. Might come in real handy if it overheats. Driving at night makes much better sense. You'll also get along a lot better if one of you sleeps while the other drives.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Terry, driving at night is the best way to do it with the heat and overheat problems you're having. Getting some spare water, if you haven't already done that, is a great safety measure as well.

It's Mrs. Awsum's day to "sleep in", but when she gets up we're having pancakes with fresh blueberries from our bushes with real Vermont maple syrup!

Grab a jug of antifreeze-- the premixed kind. that is always in my auto emergency kit.* Remember that raises the boiling temp. Putting too much water in will make the problem worse.

*Jumper cables, tire fix, pressure gauge, code reader, seat cover, oil, W-D 40, antifreeze, flashlight, ice scraper, blanket, sand, .......

I missed good morning today, Good Afternoon!! I'm having a slow starting day, but that's about to change, time to get moving. Remember, we are on midnights here, well Mr. Q is, and I end up trying to find a blend of days and midnights that works.

Eyes on the prize Terry! I hope the rest of the trip goes a lot smoother for you. I've seen on the forecasts that the temps are about to drop. What a weird summer!

Good morning, Q. The polar vortex is going to make a brief visit to the midwest. What is it with this "polar vortex" anyway? I had never heard of such a thing, until last winter. Maybe the next ice age is starting?

Maybe "polar vortex" is just a fancy name for "cold snap."

Can't be ice age Jerry. Everybody knows it's global warming.

I don't know why everything has to have a catchy title now. Isn't what they used to call a cold front? lol

Huh. Wonder what kind of catchy title they're gonna come up with for a warm rear.

Tropical vortex?

We discussed global warming on the back porch day before yesterday. The first stage of global warming is extremes in weather as cold water from melting icecaps meets tropical water. They misnamed it-- people today can see only extremes-- the data now abailable is too subtle for anything other than statistical analysis (and observation of the receding polar icecaps).
