Need help from former MFS (MyFreedomSmokes) customers
Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

I'm praying for y'all.
Tutoring went well today.
In the car, the girl was bothering her brother by touching him with a toy frog. He yelled rudely at her, and it gave me a chance to reinforce being polite. And I told her not to bother her brother, too. I think I see the dynamics. She annoys him in subtle ways, he reacts, and then he looks like the bad guy. Still, I told him he should have calmly asked her to please not tap him with the frog. And she should have stopped then.
Later, I mentioned it again, including both kids in the lecture, not just the boy. I said I wanted them to be well-behaved, so people would see them and say, "What wonderful children they are," not " Wow! They are little monsters. I'm glad they aren't mine. They need a good spanking." I think the boy got the message. I could see him trying on his new, polite self.
I also asked both kids if they preferred having lessons separately or together. The girl said she wanted them together, and the boy said he didn't, and his sister could go first, so I started with her. At some point when we were nearly finished, he walked in, and I gave him stuff to do.
First, he read about Manneken Pis. He seemed interested and I told him that the stuff I was going to have him read was adult stuff, straight from Wikipedia, not reworded so it was simpler for kids. I thought he could do it, though some words might be hard. And he did! Yes, he didn't know some words, but that's always the case. And he was attentive when I explained. So that idea worked! Now, what do I think up that's outrageous enough to hold his attention on Saturday? Any suggestions?
The girl did a reading comprehension sheet. I have lots of them of varying difficulty, and she chose one that wasn't too hard. I'm glad she's learning to judge her skill level and choose something appropriate. In the past, she would choose something too hard for her and then be daunted by it. I do give advice and guidance about this, but I also let them choose what they want to work on and learn on their own how to judge the difficulty rather than just be handed work that's appropriate. I think it's important to learn to evaluate stuff like that.
They really like the idea of personalized word searches with their own vocab words. In fact, the girl asked if I could make a word search for her with words she supplied. I said part of her homework would be to make a list of words, and then next time I'd write them down and make a word search for her with her own words. She got busy right away making her list.
The boy did a word search, too, one made for him. He kept saying it was impossible, and I said no, it might be difficult, but it wasn't impossible. He asked what the difference was, and I told him. All along, he was using "impossible," and I thought he was giving up, and here, he was just complaining that it was hard.
To end, we did a Mad Libs. I told them again that when these Mad Libs were finished, we'd have to make our own. The boy asked how we could do that, and I said we'd think up a story, then decide which words to take out, then decide what parts of speech they were. I would type it up at home, print it out, and then they could do it just like the ones that were made for us.
That's it. Now to put on my thinking cap and come up with something wild and interesting for the boy for next time.

Thanks Celtic. We're fighting hard. Getting a break for a few weeks before starting chemo again. We seem to be winning but it's been pretty rough on both of us. Thanks much for the prayers.
Hi Wuzz - Glad you two are making it through chemo and your spouse is getting better.
I went to the doctor yesterday and I don't think I like the new doctor. I think I'll try a different doctor in the future. Geez, I hate having to switch doctors. It usually takes me a few times to find one I like.
What we like about this place is they have a walk-in clinic, once you are considered a patient, so you can go in if you don't have an appointment and it isn't a zillion dollars like urgent care is.

Yay!!!! We must have gotten at least 1/2 and inch of rain. Could be more. The wind is doing 20 to 30 mph and it is 40 degrees out. Too bad I have to go clean a house because otherwise I would sit in the house and read a book
Morning Volties. Still in the tight grip of winter here, it's 6° and snowing. Still waiting for a significant melt, when it does come, it's gonna be a messy one, lol. I've been hearing of lots of water lines bursting, not just in houses, in the lines running underground from the mains, and some mains too! The frost line is deeper this year, lots of people are without water and it could take weeks to get everything fixed.
I twisted my back lugging a 50lb bag of birdseed up to the house, so I've been taking it easy the past few days. This getting old stuff.....sigh, but it still beats the alternative by a mile. Have a great day folks!

Hey Volties, We've had a couple days of sunshine after 18 days in a row of rain. Yes, I said 18 days in a row. 8-o No wonder I've been so down. Even BF has been feeling the blues and the weather doesn't normally bother him. But now we are in for more cold weather and they are predicting snow again for this Sunday which means more gray days.
I got my drawing supplies today so I'm anxious to play around with the graphite and charcoal powder and the white pencil. Will report results later.

Terry, I'm glad you finally got some sun. We have very cold weather again, and the last 2 days, it snowed a little, though not enough to make any difference. Right now, the wind is howling.

Yes, Lizzie, this cold just won't stop. It's 4 degrees with a strong wind, meaning it feels a lot colder. The low tonight is predicted to be minus 5. Fortunately, on Saturday, when the hoof trimmer will do Penny's feet, the high will be in the 30s and the low in the teens. That'll feel like springtime! But then it'll get just as cold as it is now. I'm sick of the cold and very eager for it to start getting warmer.
We've had a couple of chilly nights and today was a little cold but it's suppposed to be back to 70s tomorrow and 80 by Sunday. I really feel bad for you folks up there but I have a suggestion. Find that danged groundhawg and shoot the sucker.
Once again, it's time to say good night. Thinking of spring, I decided on this photo of a newborn fawn and its mom that were in my yard one morning.
We've had a couple of chilly nights and today was a little cold but it's suppposed to be back to 70s tomorrow and 80 by Sunday. I really feel bad for you folks up there but I have a suggestion. Find that danged groundhawg and shoot the sucker.

Right now it is 38 degrees and looking like rain. I can only hope we get some more. Wet and cool. Really, I like it.
I think I'll work outside today on the goat pen, the horse pens, the compost piles and the greenhouse. That's probably enough projects for one day I'm hoping to get ahold of some neighbors and go visiting. We'll see if anyone is going to be home.

It always seems ironic that you want rain and Terry has too much of it. Don't you wish she could share her excess moisture?
