My desk always looks like a bomb went off on it, CD welder, ohm meters, beakers full of pre-welded coils, cups full of CE3 parts, a ton of tweezers, pliers, screwdrivers, scissors and pieces of rayon and Tencel all over it. Throw in the bottles, syringes, needles, pipettes, tissues, towels, router, IP phone modems, monitor, scanner and everything else and I'm lucky to have enough room to do anything and not get lost.

Try to use a coil about 1.5mm inside diameter and use enough rayon that it kind of "squeaks" as you pull the wick back and forth. Trim flush with the wick ports, fill 'er up and go! Give it a minute to saturate the wick, dry burning rayon results in no wick in the coil, LOL....trust me on that one!

So, Lizzie, what did you & the trainer do with the horses today?

I went to the barn to ride, but we got rained out. Just as I was getting into my car to go to the barn, it started raining, then it stopped for a while, so I groomed Penny, who was quite dirty from lying in the mud. Then it started up again, so we just put the horses in the barn.

Lizzie, you said you envied us all the rain, but it can get in the way of fun sometimes.

It sure can get in the way of fun! And, I don't have mud at my place just wet sand so I have it better than most people:)

I took Nevada out to the round pen. The trainer showed up and worked with Nevada just a bit on running and turning. Then he got the bit in Nevada's mouth.

This is only the second time Nevada has had a bit and bridle so he lowered his head and didn't bring it back up again for quite some time:) The trainer put the surcingle and breeching on Nevada. Then, the reins. He got Nevada to ground driving. He had him whoa, gee, haw [right, left] and back using the reins and voice commands.

Nevada did really good although the trainer did have to tap him with the whip a few times to cue him sometimes. Also, Nevada kept getting mouthfuls of grass to help him chew on the bit better:)

Nevada finally brought this head up after about 20 minutes.

Unfortunately, the cart had two flats so we couldn't get Nevada into the cart but we will next week. Hubby will have to air up my tires this weekend.

All in all a gret day.

I was totally successful leading Nevada to and from one pen to the other. Yay!

While I was waiting for the peeps to show up I patrolled for poop and garbage. Always wear gloves after a big wind so you can grab all the bits of trash that have blown in. I feel like I am caught up on yard pick up. The horse and goat pens look good. I threw in some tree trimming.

The trainer and the farriers were very impressed by my three sided run in shelter:)

The farriers worked on their feet and I was finally done for the day.

A good night photo of a different sort: You've seen the majestic house across the street, but our village has all kinds of houses, some quite modest, some quirky, some traditional old houses, and some are fairly affluent new houses. I think the variety is interesting. Here's one that's modest and quirky. It has always caught my fancy. The dog in the yard is one that smiles by baring her teeth. I've only met a few dogs who did that.

Good morning, Voltpeeps,

How is fall progressing inyour area?

http://

Our fall is really starting to happen.

I'm pulling timers for the irrigation system in anticipation of having some frosty over night temps in a week or so.

http://

I picked our last crop of cayenne peppers.

I'm getting the last of the taters dug up.

http://

Picking up hoses and storing them in a shed.

And enjoying the last of the flowers.

Your nearest hydrogen bomb.
Nice pics Lizzie :)
Good morning all. I fine tuned the carburetor today and replaced a gasket and a jet. Also i did put some locktite on all the exhaust screws because they got loose and rattling. May have to replace a few TINY o-rings on the carb, other than that did nothing today, it was warm and sunny maybe over 80F.

Roland update, seems the new CE3 has a thicker/richer taste?

I've noticed, especially over time, that the vapor is "thicker" from a rayon wick. The taste difference really will hit you after you use nothing but rayon for a while, then go back to a silica or fiberglass wick. I have 20 CE3s with silica wicks all loaded up and ready to go, but I can't stand the flavor from them so I'll have to empty them and rebuild them one of these days.

Finishing laundry and on my way outside to do tasks like Lizzie did.

Got jealous from Lizzie and went out with the scooter and got some pics but they don't show anything lol, I'll try to find a better place next time.

Roland do you think i should try to rebuild a protank atomizer?
I am still testing the CE3 for now on the spinner.
Kanger coils are sooo easy to rebuild, and work sooo much better with rayon than stock! :thumb:
My rule of thumb is to make your coil the same diameter as the juice slots, and line up placement with the bottom edge of the slots (just straddle your mandrel over the slots when you tighten up the legs) - that way you won't have to worry about leaking or the wick getting choked. No flavor wicks needed.

I second what Cindy says about the Protank. I use a, nominal, 2mm coil form and no flavor wicks. I have an original Protank, the one with a fixed mouthpiece, on my 134 and have put 60ml of Cigarillos through it so far with no drop off in output or flavor. I do leave a little wick sticking out when I trim, but that's the only other detail I can think of.
