0mg, if you are going to mess around with things like paint stripper, you should have a respirator.

This stuff she's using has absolutely no fumes or any burny sensation at all. Seriously, I was vaping caramel cheesecake and that was ALL I could smell. I accidentally went at it without gloves, and it felt like nothing. I think that's why it works so badly.

I am obsessive. That is a fact.

I started outside, but when it got dark, I brought my work inside.

Both pieces are inside, drying. My bowl of stripper is inside, covered with a grocery bag. The jug is outside. I have a headache, and was beginning to get some depressive thoughts. Thanks, guys. I am taking a break from quilt-piecing to get my thumb rested, and what do I do? I need to sit back and read and vape for the rest of the evening.

Yes, it doesn't work well. But my nose was getting a burny sensation, and it wasn't from my Orchid experiments-- entirely.

That stuff doesn't work unless you wrap it in plastic and let it sit for a day or two. Not just loosely wrap, but actually in full contact. The goo is like glue - lay the plastic over it and smooth it out, like you would with contact paper. Put a little extra goo in the crevices and it'll scrape with no effort at all. Just be careful when you scrape though - the wood gets kinda soft after it's been sittling in all that goo.
OH! Wow! You know that is the stuff I used with the trunk, don't you? I Will get some plastic wrap for this project. THANK YOU!

Terry, I'm no authority on fireplaces, but the few I had only had an open and shut adjustment of the flue as far as I knew. Maybe if you open it halfway, you are just propping it between its 2 positions, and the slightest jiggle in the house can close or open it. Are you sure your flue has multiple adjustments?

You could be right. BF was messing with it and thought that it should stay half open since he got it to stay there but it always seemed to open all the way on it's own. I'm glad it doesn't close on it's own.

Perhaps fore-see-thia predicts a very long and wicked winter.

I think more likely it makes a statement about a very mild fall. My guess is that it thinks it's spring already. I remember a Thanksgiving weekend, probably in the '70s, when we went to Philadelphia, and all the spring blossoms were blooming because the weather was so warm.

Watch the squirrels. If they are busy gathering nuts, then it's going to be a rough winter. If they are running around and playing, then it's going to be a mild winter.

So far, the ones around here are doing the latter, although I haven't seen any acorns on the oak trees this fall, so maybe the poor little guys will starve to death. :(

Your nearest hydrogen bomb.
Triitium, I wonder if they'd recognize an old box camera or old reflex camera as readily? So what are you writing code for?
Good morning, late reply because i went into a coma and woke up now.
There are a few similar videos like this lol.

Nothing much, a transmitter and a new project, i'll let you know when ready. I switch between languages and compilers and it's too much data for a human.

Good morning, Voltpeeps,

I seem to have a mild cold. Hubby already had it. You get a bit of a sore throat and you don't feel awful but you don't feel up to par either.

I have a house to clean and then the half a house job today, too. So, I guess I need to rest up until I have to leave.

Times like these, I wish I wasn't allergic to alcohol:)

I guess I could feel worse but I definitely could feel better!

I just have to survive 6 hours of cleaning houses. We are having left overs for dinner so no cooking. I'd call in sick but with the holidays coming up, I don't want to mess up the schedule and changing everyone up by a week would definitely cause some drama.

We got the breezeway stringboard up yesterday so at least we got that chore done. It should help keep the area by the backdoor dry when it rains or snows. Also, we put the table with the wok burner behind the boards so we can cook Chinese food out of the wind since we want to cook Chinese food outside all winter.

Hubby got my new speakers into the Toy so that means I have good listening to enjoy on my way to and from the jobs today.

I'm allergic too. If I drink I break out in big spots. Like Atlanta, New Orleans, Las Vegas with no recollection of how I got there.

There is some scientific evidence that chicken soup can help a cold. If I remember correctly it's related to the potassium in the chicken soup.

That 2nd article said yogurt is good, too, because of the probiotics. Interesting! I had no idea real research had been done on chicken soup's effectiveness to fight colds. Thanks, Trit!

That's interesting. I like chicken soup (Jewish penicillin) when I get a cold but I've never put any science to it. Thanx for the research.
