Pics? I'm considering making one, too...I was busy getting sawdust everywhere today. That was my mission and I was amazingly successful. In the process, I managed to finish my little 9 hole lazy Susan PV holder for my studio. Also drilled out about a zillion holes for my replacement main PV holder. My Forstner bits are very tired. So am I, but the holes are all drilled. Now all that I have left is the icky part. I don't like sanding all that much. There is also some minor doweling to do before I get to do the finish work.![]()
hmmm... methinks I might be getting this for Christmas this year.

Pics? I'm considering making one, too...

Ohhh - so beautiful! I'll have to dig through my albums for baby animals too and post some here.
I'm thinkin' that I shouldn't show pics. It's been mentioned to me that it's not a good idea to post photos of mod holders here. Someone that I know was banned because they were certain that she was a Supplier and trying to sell them.![]()
I'd love to see your baby animal photos, Rave.
I think that's crazy not to be able to post a picture of your project! It's not like you are making a lot of different ones and posting pics of them all. Do you know who was banned and how many pics they posted? I bet it was more than just one of the finished product. There should be some way to distinguish between people who post a lot of pics of different holders and someone who is just making one and wants to share the project's progress.
BTW, I, too, was just asked to update my password. No confusion this time like I had last time. Remember that?

Now I've done the little one for the studio and a new big PV holder to replace the one I made last year. The reason I need to replace it is because I made the mistake of making it out of particle board. Even though I thought that I had it well-sealed, it soaked up any PV leaks and swelled drastically and dramatically. This one I'm making out of real wood. Not great wood, but at least it's real. Anyhow - that might be enough PV holders to make me "suspect" in the eyes of the ECF mods. I don't wanna do that.

Speaking of bags and weight.... When I was in school I carried 2 shoulder bookbags (denim) one for school stuff (ALL my textbooks and assoc. binders) and the other for a "purse". In my "purse" I carried no less than 6 novels (to read in class after my work was done of course sometimes), purse stuff like wallet and makeup, my HUGE assortment of pens and mechanical pencils, portable cd player and cds for the hour long bus ride, snacks, sodas and water, gum, and other random junk that made its way into my "purse". I actually was known to swing it at people (boys) when they bullied me.
Now for my interesting story for my Huge collection of pens and mech. pencils. I have a "slight" addiction. I have no idea why either.![]()
Mornin' All!!
Just watched a lone buck on surveillance standing by a tree in my turnaround and sniffing at my Jeep. We had freezing rain here at about 4 a.m. Dunno how long it lasted but any amount of freezing rain is too much. It's supposed to keep that nonsense up in fits and starts for awhile before it turns to straight rain. Bummer. BF delayed the start of school for two hours. On the bright side: The forecast after Thursday is for temperatures to steadily rise until it hangs out in the mid-40's and even low 50's for awhile!!
Just so that I don't jinx things, maybe I need to change my Winter-themed avatar and signature to one of more hospitable temperatures ...![]()
moanin', Volttatycs.
We're supposed to get snow later this afternoon, changing to sleet/freezing rain tonight, then rain and warming up overnight. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 50's and rainy. Thursday the're calling for 6-10 inches of snow, After that it's going to get cold, again, the warm up over the weekend. Talk about a roller coaster, but it is the seasons changing, finally.
I was forced to update my password too. And I forgot to check the box that says "Remember Me". So, I suppose I should log out and log back in again before I forget my new password. CRS! 'Course, I could actually write it down somewhere. Then I'd probably forget where I wrote it down!
Yeah - I know who it was that was banned. And if ya think about it, I have already posted pics of the last PV holder that I made last year. I recently posted a Sketchup image of the Leo holder. It just wasn't in its finished form. Now that it's completed, it looks much better in person, if I don't say so myself. Now I've done the little one for the studio and a new big PV holder to replace the one I made last year. Okay - I don't have many baby critter photos. They tend to stay hidden. But, here's a few:
This was taken on one of my Trail Cams down by my campsite down at the creek maybe three acres away from my house:
Some Acadian flycatcher nestlings with their nest on my porch light:
Baby groundhog/woodchuck on the deck:
Baby sugar glider riding her mamma's back on my bed:
Same joey. I think that's Bonkers:
Itty bitty Bitty:
This is a poor shot of one of Scrappy's kits peeking out of their nest hole:
See what I mean? Round faces with large round eyes. That's the "cuteness" key.
Oh, except when we had that blizzard in Colorado.
That one cracked me up.Rave, I loved your baby animal pics. You have a bigger variety than I do. Most of mine are fawns. I don't see too many other baby animals, though some barn swallows had nests in our back porch a few years. I tried to get photos of them, but it was before I got my good camera, and the light is poor back there, so the photos were too grainy to be respectable.
Thanks for reminding me, Rave. I forgot to check the Remember Me box, too, so I had to log in again. I wondered why suddenly I couldn't Like any posts.
Lizzie, I think it's exciting that your neighbor is coming to plant seedlings for the garden. I know you wanted to make it a community garden so it wasn't so much work.

Hey all.We got some freezing rain in the wee hours of the night. My windshield is covered with frozen rain drops. It's just raining lightly now. I hope it washes away all this crap so I can get back out in the woods easier. My right side is sore from shoveling snow. I've never shoveled snow in my life.
Oh, except when we had that blizzard in Colorado.
Love your pics Rave. Especially that closeup of one of your bunnies. That one cracked me up.
Hy, Terry, how' the heating system repairs work out? You seem to be ahead of the game with 72 in the house!
Rave, we always knew that you re unique. Idiolect - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
