Sitting down, facing forward.
moanin', Volties.

I think baby critters are "cute" because they haven't had time to get ornery yet.

It rained last night, most of the night, and the temps were right at 32. This morning everything was coated with ice. It didn't last long, thankfully, because it's warming up fairly quickly and the sun is poking in and out. For a while it looked like it was raining under the trees as the ice quickly melted. The Jeep had a beard of icicles hanging off of it, but it should all be gone by noon at this rate. Next snow/ice/rain is scheduled to start tomorrow afternoon. Maybe after that we'll start to recover and get on the road to Spring.

Good morning.

My big news today is that we're without water this morning. A water main down the street broke and they're fixing it, so they turned off the water.

We got a skim of snow yesterday and last night, but not anywhere near the 3" predicted. Maybe an inch at most.

I'll be tutoring later today, and I sure hope I can brush my teeth before then.

Good night photo: spring lamb from the place around the corner from my house. This is from last year, and some of you may remember my visit with the lambs and their owner.

SandySu, you are doing your best to bring on spring. You are just jumping the gun, I think:)

If Spring Lambs will help you folks in poorer climes than I, then let me offer this:

Good morning, Voltpeeps.

Can't like the post about you having no water, SandySu.

You are probably right about the little critters not being ornery yet, Awsum.

It was 29 degrees and foggy this morning. A little rain and the next thing you know, fog. The desert just can't handle a little moisture:)

Nevada tried to stomp the dogs this morning. Those dogs better pay attention when they go in that corral.

Hubby bought us tickets to go to a concert. The Outlaws, yeah, there's only two original members but they got good reviews and I love their music. Next Saturday, it is a date!

Yard clean up, dishes and vacuuming are on today's list.

The goats all had to get into the shed to escape the rain the other night, so they are starting to get integrated but the two new goats hang out with each other the most and the two old goats hang out together the most. Obie the Giant doesn't seem to want to get to know the new goats but Taffy is butting heads and shoving around with the two new goats. I'm calling them Brownie and Rosie.

Brownie and Rosie are very sweet. Brownie loves to be petted. They both like to head for the gate so better keep the gate closed tight!

Always a good feeling!

Terry, how is your snow situation. I was glad to hear that Raven got home okay.

None has melted yet so still have around 9". I was out in the woods today cutting wood and the snow was up to the bottom of my knees.:mad: But...the snow made it easier to haul the rounds in the sled. It was just very hard to walk in. I ran out of light dry wood to keep the hardwood burning so I'm still busting my .... :(

Just an FYI: 5"+ yesterday Thankfully stopped in the evening so the cars could be cleaned off and the sidewalks shoveled, just before sanitation cops came around to hand out tickets to the home owners in the neighborhood who still had snow on the sidewalks in front of their houses . . . Yet none of the streets were plowed . . . YEA NYC. . .

ANYWAY - After having to help to remove the snow . . . IT'S JUST ANOTHER REASON WHY I LIVE IN FLORIDA & HAVE NO INTENTION OF MOVING NORTH AGAIN . . . I'M WAY TO OLD FOR THIS "STUFF" Just Sayin' . . . :censored::censored: :censored:

Another Volt e-cig wonder story from the cold reaches of the remote Arkansas Ozarks. I recently ordered 2 new batteries for my stepdot so she could keep multiples in rotation. One if the batteries had issues and I called. The issue was handled immediately - no muss, no fuss. So glad I've found SmokelessImage.

Meanwhile, I got vapemail today consisting of a 2 slot charger, 130 ml of juice, a solid copper mod, a matching copper rda, and a set of batteries. Color me (temporarily) happy.

Temporary? Yes. I have another rda, another 2 mods, 3 more batteries, another charger, a case, 2 air flow collars, more wire and cotton, 1.2 Ohm OCC coils, and another 80+ ml juice still in transit.

Oh, and I'm also broke.

And so it begins.

Well this is the most we've gotten all Winter so it's kind of a big deal to me. We don't get 9" in Washington so it's a lot to me. ;)

Rave made it home safely. She said the roads were clear all the way. Whoot!

Well, I did say that the roads were clear. What I didn't say was that there were cars off to the sides of the road that had obviously gotten stuck trying to pull into driveways or had slid off the roads before they were cleared. Bummer. We had about 9" of fresh snow too, but today's sun took some of that down. It was falling off of the trees in big globs. Someone had plowed one lane on the county road that I live on. One lane. Sooo ... guess what happens when two cars meet up. It's ... awkward. Thank goodness that my son had plowed the driveway before we got back to my house. Then my poor BF had to drive back home and close the schools for his district. He knew that there was no way that all of those country roads would be cleared enough for the buses to pick up the kids. It's all rural and the kids are spread far and wide.

They are very cute, Shawn. What is it about baby animals that makes us see them as very cute?

I think that human beings are hard-wired to respond to the round faces of baby mammals as "cute". And human children stay "cute" just long enough that we have too much invested in them emotionally and financially to throw them out the window. ;)

I ordered a new leather backpack/purse to use as a purse from Amazon and they are saying I won't get it until March 25 thru April 10th. They must have to kill the cow, tan the hide and sew it up first.

 What?! That's crazy!

Sooo ... I shouldn't start looking for a house for you in Terry's neck of the woods?

Another new kid on the block. Harbinger of Spring?

Those are so darned cute. But, I'm thinking that they are only harbingers of Spring in Arkansas. We have a few weeks to plow through first. See what I did there?

Oooh! I want one of those. Can you provide a link of the one you ordered? Why did you choose it? Right now, I have a dreary old fabric backpack, but I wish for something a little classier. I want lots of pockets and compartments, places to put little things like keys without having to dig in the big main compartment. I bet your requirements are about the same, since you'll be using it the same way.
