Yep, hot and muggy here also. I've got cabin fever and need to get outside. Today might be the day. Suppose to be in the upper 70's. Fingers crossed.

Good morning, Voltpeeps.

Nice to hear your bride is doing good, Wuzz.

The weather is in the nineties but starting out cool, in the upper fifties.

We started our vacation at the Marin headland but to get there we had to go over Donner Pass and through Sacramento. The traffic was terrible. We finally made it to Hwy 37. You go through a bunch of wetlands with lots of Great Egrets, Blue Herons and sea birds of various types. I love Blue Herons.

The Golden Gate bridge really is incredible. We got a stranger to take a photo of us together. She worked really hard at getting the right shot

So cute.

There are World War Two installations of various sorts scattered around. There is also a lighthouse but we skipped it due to not liking crowds and the fact that we had to go down 300 vertical feet of stairs [and then back up again].

It was getting dark so we drove around the headland and through a long one way tunnel to get out. We ended up in Sausalito which seemed like a very toney town. We camped at a KOA campground. We petted a cow and a couple of donkeys that were in a field next to us. A nice first day.

No heron pics. They wouldn't let us get close enough. Isn't that just like a Great Blue Heron?!

There were Stellar's blue jays.

And wild turkeys.

I thought this barn in the Marin area was neat.

We finally got to have watermelon for dessert tonight. I think I picked it too early, it wasn't really very sweet at all, but it sure smelled like watermelon -

(The meat was actually much white than the photo, almost snow white.)

A tad early on that watermelon

We are eating corn on the cob from the garden. We picked one watermelon. Tastey but not super good. Hoping they will be better in a day or two. Lots of cukes, tomatoes, zukes, patty pans, beans. Thank goodness I have neighbors helping me pick and eat all of this produce.

That's always a problem, Lizzie, trying to use all the stuff. I just planted four tomato plants, one hill of cucumbers, two hills of watermelon and a single, eight foot row, of green beans. That's not all that much but we can't eat everything we pick so Mrs. Awsum gives it away at work. The green beans are easy to blanch and freeze. Tomatoes can be made into sauce and canned. The cukes and watermelon have to go pretty quickly though and folks do seem to appreciate, and like, them.

That was a white melon and I haven't grown any of the smaller ones, ever. I'm letting the next ones stay on the vines until they're considerably larger. Those two hills are rapidly taking over the whole garden.

There's that little dropdown of names that shows up once you start typing (tags). I use that a lot, cuz I know I'm gonna get the spelling wrong. Then I go by the avi to make sure.

Has anyone tried the New MVP 3 yet? I was thinking about deviating from smokeless image (shhh don't tell them!) to get one. I just got the aspire ET (stainless steel) and I love it but it feels like it needs more power/voltage for a warmer vape than what the mvp 2 can put out. That would also mean I'd have to get the 510 thread converter thingy or just buy the 510 aspire ET.

Like Tritium said, it is, indeed, supposed to be white inside. Thought we'd try something a little different. We just didn't anticipate that they would take over the garden, kind of like "Day of the Triffids".

We spent the second day in Point Reyes. It was very pretty. We got the chance to observe Tule elk. That was awesome.

We went to the Bodega Sand Dunes to camp.

Nice beach.
