Sitting down, facing forward.
moain', Voltalytes.

Glad to hear that Penny is looking better, Lizzie. If it was something really serious I kind of doubt she'd bee looking better so quickly.

It's cool here today, only 70 now and was 50 this morning. I left the window open in the Master bath, with the doors closed, and it was like a refrigerator in there when I went back in. It's on the west end of the house and the curtains were standing out from the window frame from the breeze coming in. Closed that really quick, before I started shaving.

I started mowing the lawn yesterday and got about 3/4 done before I had to stop. It kept sprinkling rain while I was mowing the front, but when I got into the large, open, area in the backyard it started sprinkling a lot harder. I tried to tough it out, but it was just getting too wet to mow effectively and I was getting soaked anyway. I'm on my way out to finish that little chore up.

Unfortunately, Penny is now on borrowed time. She continues to be the bright spot in my day but she is not going to be around much longer.

He did an ultrasound.

She has liver cancer, as far as he can tell without doing an invasive procedure.

Thanks for all your well wishes and thoughts. Nature has the final say and nature has spoken.

Penny will have venison with every meal and lots of love every day and we will ensure her every comfort.

She has been my wonderful companion for ten years and I treasure my time left with her.

Thanks again.

You give her the best of love and care for the time you have left with her. Make every day a joy. We got Sandy through her loss of her Penny, we will get you through it, too.

Thank you all for being there for me. It has been tough to hear this news.

Penny is happy tonight. She has been out mouse hunting and she has had a delicious dinner of dog food, rice and venison. She feels like a queen.

Don't worry, Wuzz, Penny does not appear to be suffering and we have pain meds here at the house for her if she starts having rough days.

Penny is playing with her toy this morning, although briefly, and looks happy enough.

On a lighter note, the Directv person is coming today to try to fix the tv not working with the box correctly. You turn the tv on and 9 times out of 10 it says no signal. Every once in awhile, your turn the tv on and it works right.

Of course, I spent Labor Day weekend working on the problem. I was troubleshooting using all the guides they had available. Still had to unplug the HDMI cable and replug it to get a picture from the Genie box.

I called and they made me do it all again. Thirty minutes later the gal said "Do you have another HDMI cable? Do I know if the HDMI cable is ours?" I told her "Look, I don't even really know what HDMI is. I'm pretty sure we don't have one of those cables sitting around here. I don't know if the guy put on a new cable or what. I left installing the Genie up to the repair guy since that is his job and presumably he is a professional." "Maybe we should send out a repair guy." I said "Good idea!"

He is coming today.

We are going to work with Nevada today unless it is too windy.

I am so so sorry...... >> hugs << I understand what you are going through. Enjoy the time you have with her :)
Spoil her rotten (or spoil her even more rotten :) ) and love her as you have for 10 years, because I am sure you know that she has loved you and your husband and has had a wonderful life with you guys :)
