Your nearest hydrogen bomb.
Sometimes wonder about hoe competitors on eBay. Does a friend of the seller bid and drive the price up? I bet that happens.
Yes it happens, you can use software to snipe the auction for you but i wasn't that much concerned, if it was something i eould really need i would get it 100% no worries. He only took it up 0.50 (actualy 1.00) so last 10 secs i bid 0.50 more and then 0.50 more and i got it.

Ever hear of that new technology, called a mirror? ROFLMAO
Mirror? Oh crap again, didn't think of that..:D

Sitting down, facing forward.
I've done that holding one end of the tape in my right hand on the left shoulder and the other end in my let hand on the right shoulder. Then just hold the "high" end and read the tape.

Incidentally, I'm skinnier than you are.

Thanks for the anniversary good wishes, folks! Dinner was delicious. I was getting worried that he wasn't going to call me after work and I had just decided to order to go when he called and said he worked a little late. So, we met at the restaurant and had a nice meal together.

We are running the wood stove for the last couple of days. Toasty.

I am going to Reno with my neighbor. We are going to look at flooring. I had decided vinyl planks would be great and then I was reading vinyl planks can't be in direct sun. I think I am back to wood look tile. Yes, a little more money and we probably have to pay to have it installed but tile is incredibly durable and pet friendly. I just don't think laminate flooring will hold up to pet accidents. Not that we have many pet accidents but it is a factor in our house.

Hey Volties. I bet you thought you were rid of me but I've been lurking. Happy Belated Anniversary Lizzie. :)

I've been really busy all summer and fall finishing the frog pond, cutting firewood and helping BF finish the storm shelter. I'm still gathering firewood even though I have enough to last me the winter. It's fun...what can I say.

The weather this week has been incredible. Sunny and in the 70's. Yesterday Rave and I went fishing on the river that borders her BF's property. We had a nice sandy beach (sand bar really) and had the river to ourselves. I caught the first and biggest fish (catfish) but Rave had to show me up by catching 3. A catfish, a sauger and a small sturgeon. We threw them all back. Her BF said that the sauger and sturgeon are the rarest fish in the White River so Rave was really glowing with excitement.:thumbs:

BF created a mountain of dirt, digging out the storm shelter, for me to haul to the back yard to level it out. I hauled enough to make a walk-able path back there and then put gravel on it. I still have 1/2 the mountain to move and more gravel to get but it's going to be really nice when I get done. No more slipping and falling on my ... :grr: after a rain. :thumb:

Rave is doing fine but very busy working on her 4 websites that she has her jewelry on. She is doing very well with her sales.

Later.....

Ah yes.. She has an ebay shop too. Good to know she and you have fun times and are healthy.

E-commerce is the solution in this age but always done correctly which mostly works better with individuals online or small businesses. Large corporations f..... it up.

Tuesday I cleared the leaves from the front yard. Wednesday I cleared the leaves from the back yard. Today, it looks like I never did anything other than the big pile of mulched leaves back in the mulch pen. I was eating lunch, looking out the sliding door into the back yard and it looked like it was snowing, hard, only it was leaves. Why can't they all fall into my mulch pen?

Ecologists say that raking leaves is environmentally unsound. Wildlife Group Says Not To Rake Leaves, As If You Needed A Reason Better to chop them up with the lawnmower.

Ecologists say.....Last year I tried that method. Do you, or they, have any idea, at all, how thick the layer of chopped up leaves gets when you start out with leaves that are four to eight inches deep to begin with? I still had sections of lawn that were brown, and an inch thick in chopped up leaves, from the chopped up leaves, and yes they were finely chopped, this fall when the new crop started falling. I'm thinking about a way to make the bagger on the tractor work better to avoid clogs.
