We got our first "snow" of the winter today. It's started around 2PM, Weather Underground predicted it right on the money, and it's still snowing. Just a light dusting on the "grassy surfaces" and it is sticking to the trees so at least it looks kind of nice.

Good looking dog. Penny used to sleep like that. Totally looked so cute in a u.

The guys are at the hotel and ready to pick up the puppies in the morning. Tomorrow I will be a new pet parent.

moanin', Voltaticalytes.

Unfortunately for Bo when he eats beef it doesn't agree with him. Maybe it's the enzymes that beef has, beats me, but giving him even a taste can lead to a trip to the vet to get him back to "regular". It's a bummer for us not to be able to let him have some. He does fine with pork, poultry and fish, but beef makes a wreck out of his tummy. He does get chicken, every day, and we share dinner with him when it's stuff he can handle. We can tell when he really likes his dinner, he runs around the house barking out/at the doors and windows warning off all the "bad guys".
Awwww, poor Bo :(
That is so cute that he runs around barking after eating his yummy food!

Puppy pic.

Good morning, Voltpuppywatchers.

It is raining here which we desperately need the moisture. The guys think going over the passes will not be difficult and I hope they are right.

Cross your fingers that everyone manages to meet at the Starbucks in a timely fashion to do the puppy exchange.

I need to clean the house today.

'moanin, Voltatics.

The "hawk" is out this morning for sure. 21 degrees and a "feels like" of 11 with the wind. I thought the dusting of snow would evaporate overnight, between the low humidity and wind, but no such luck. The "dusting" was more like an inch and there's lots of black ice in parking lots and such. I'm glad there's nothing important to do outside, too darn cold, but I do need to get the snow blower fired up and park it behind the house. The "European Model" is calling for a foot, plus, overnight Friday into Saturday.

Morning.
I went to the factory my bro works, they had a broken CNC, they do glass stuff for stores, fridges, or anything that requires custom pieces of large glass.

I thought they had a tabletop CNC, you know the kinds on the internet for playing at home...
Wrong, it was a monster the size of my house lol

One of the axis drivers blew up so i took it home in case it was a simple capacitor or something.
Wrong, a piece of board blew up, 2 grand for a new driver board. :D

Haven't got a clue what all that stuff is but it sounded impressive so I gave you a like.

Puppies are almost to the Oregon - California border. They did throw up in the crate so they got a new clean blankie and some water but no more food.

The biggest CNC machine I ever saw was in an Army depot where they repaired tanks. The chassis of an M1A1 tank would fit into it so they could machine the mounts for the tracks for the turret. That was a BIG machine. They also had a button rifling machine for 155mm and another for 8 inch guns. Awesome stuff!

Sorry the puppies got car sick, Lizzie.

Didn't bother me since I didn't have to clean it up:) Poor little babies. I knew this was going to be a long car drive for them.

Can you believe that I'm not done cleaning the house yet. Geez.

The black puppy is now driving home from Sacramento with his new owners and Dad and Hubby are headed over the pass. Then, through Reno and into Carson City. Hubby still has to drive from Carson City to our house with the little goober probably around 9 pm I'll get to meet the new puppy.
