Good afternoon Volties. My Son has been here all week and just now left to drive back to Michigan. We had a ball. Sure hated to see him leave. Couple of months and I'll be Grampaw for the first time.
Celtic, I sure hope you get that pain under control. I hate tooth problems.....and dentists.

Fantastic, Wuzz, I'm sure you will enjoy being a Grampa. I'm glad you had a nice time with your family.

So I'm helping a friend clean out his garage. I move something inside a box and something else comes popping up out of the shreddies inside the box. I dropped the box and jumped back waving my arms and giving a little scream. I stomped my feet and waved my arms a bit more. Then I said "It's a mouse!" My friend was laughing so hard. "What's the name of that dance?" I told him it was the mouse jitterbug.

We dispatched the mice and kept cleaning up:) What a day. Fortunately, he kept it short today on the clean up. I dropped some stuff off at the big rummage sale and got caught up in selling for a couple of hours. I also bought three items. An old weight scale like for in a hardware store, a metal end table for outdoors with a metal door on a cubby hole to hide things from the dogs and an old school coffee pot I'm going to use as yard art.

I'd probably enjoy it a lot more if they didn't live so far away Lizzie but yes, we're quite excited about it.

Sitting down, facing forward.
'moanin, Volties.

Wuzz, you've got to look at the bright side. You are becoming Grandpa. You can keep in touch using Skype or another video chat program so it isn't quite as bad as it was before technology. Most importantly, you won't get stuck changing diapers!

No lizzie he didn't because i haven't gone yet. I usually take a natural antibiotic like Yellow Root but I ran out. The abscess is receding as I opened it myself (Sterilization was used) drained it, twice, and gargled peroxide and salt water, at separate times of course. I can't wait to get all these teeth outta my noggin!
You are tougher than me! And braver! I may have passed out...lol
Yellow root is amazing for many things! I freeze the roots, and then boil them, strain it, and drink the yellow root water when I am sick.

That's exactly what I do! Fiance used it up this past Dec. We try not to take too much from this creek we frequent so as not to deplete our stock. :):)

    Good morning, Voltpeeps.

Hubby worked on my truck yesterday morning. It is slow going since the clutch and such haven't ever been done before so the bolts are all tight. He has a bout 6 more bolts left and we will see what is wrong with the clutch. Might be the forks, I heard.

Hubby also went and rototilled the garden of a friend and she kicked him a couple of bucks which was nice.

We got alfalfa but they were out of grass hay at the feed store so I have to go back later in the week. I still have 3/4 of a bale. If my truck gets back to running, I can pick up hay whenever I want to instead of waiting until the weekend so Hubby can use his truck.

Pony Baloney and Wiseguy went to the big outside pen again and they were running and playing. So good for them! And so cute.

I know!! I used to get strep throat like crazy. I got it when I first moved in with my fiance. He told me about YR and I was all like "Nah" and 'pffft yeah right'. He went to get some and cleaned it up for me. Boiled it and gave me a cup of it. I drank the whole mug and I swear within about 15min-30min I was up and moving around. The sore throat was gone and the white crap that forms in the back of your throat was completely gone!!!!:shock::shock:

I was like "Oh yeah, No more doctor bills for me (at least for strep!)" :rickroll::banana::rickroll::banana:

Very interesting about the Yellow Root.

    Good morning, Voltpeeps.

Wonderful day here yesterday. High of 76 degrees. Loving it.

We got the little horses out to their big pen again yesterday. They seem to be enjoying it. I put hay out there and they were munching it after they grazed on the little bit of rice grass that is out there. Both horses were easy to halter and lead back to their stall area. So nice.

Hubby worked very hard on my truck yesterday. He got the tranny out after a bit of a wrestling match. Looks like some of the fingers on the diaphragm cracked. We went to town and got parts and we also went by the tire store, Costco and the grocery store as long as we were out. We missed the bank by 3 minutes. Darn it. If you are driving that far, you may as well get as much done as possible.

It is the best thing for strep throat! I had strep throat one time and I used yellow root, and I have not had it since! Yellow root is amazing!! There are so many herbs that are excellent remedies. I prefer them over some medicines.

    Good morning, Voltpeeps.

Yes, I already did weeding this morning even though I have to clean a house at noon. I think I need to sit and read a book until I leave.

The cheat grass is going to seed so I will have to start pulling it and putting it in a bucket instead of leaving on the ground. I actually have done a pretty good job at cheat grass this year but there are some areas that still need work. I'm also pulling any needle and thread grass I see. It hasn't gone to seed so I am just leaving it on the ground.

The weather is gorgeous. Mild warm days and cool mornings. Sunny and bright. Gotta love it.

Wiseguy is napping early today. So cute.
