Welcome back Sandy, we missed you! I'm so glad it was just a glitch and everything is ok.

Hey Sandy do you think the Pantene shampoo might brighten up my blond hair? My hair has darkened alot over the past several years and I like it brighter, So i was wondering if it might brighten it?![]()
Sandy, Notsoogood has an ECF page on FB. We have 28 ECF members in that group. It's a private group, so you have to join, to access the page (I think). Anyway, when the password thing happened, we had a conversation about it and how to fix it, on Notsoogood's FB ECF page.
They have Panteme for blond hair. You should probably try that, unless you want hair so blond it's almost white. The Silver Expressions really whitens it!
I can recommend you for membership, Sandy, although we will have to be FB friends first. If you are already friends on Facebook with Raven, she can recommend you.How do I join? I might not chat much there, but I would have loved to have figured this out sooner, and it might be useful for things like that.
Relax Celtic, my hair was blond and then changed to light brown. Wait about 40 years and it will lighten again. LOLThat is how blond my hair used to be... Now its kinda blechy. My mom highlighted it for me a month or so ago but I think its washing out. Here is a photo of what my hair looked like after she cut and before she highlighted it.[/IMG]![]()

The name of the group is ECF.
I will PM you my details.
These are the people who own the place where I live. They bought another residential motel, and moved there. They have a glorified bathtub for an indoor swimming pool, so he has a HUGE motivator for finishing his schoolwork. Yesterday, he was complaining about his back hurting, so I suggested he get up and do some stretches and get a bit of exercise (he is fat). He didn't listen, instead, cut and ran for the pool. We had trouble getting him out. So, he has to complete his schoolwork and correct mistakes before pooltime. Yeah, he has twenty-five pages to do in total every day, has to do it all before even going to the pool-room. I have three hours with him, then Mom takes over. Reduces the burden and parental frustration. So all we have to deal with is HIS frustration. Once he gets into the swing of it, should be easy, and I can add another kid-- probably his cousin.0mg, what's the latest on home schooling? I had trouble with the kids working too slowly, too, hoping to avoid the work. What I do is have a set number of things we'll cover, no matter how long it takes. I explained this to them. If they do it without any fooling around, the lesson is over sooner. The more they fool around, the longer they sit there! They caught onto that one right away, and there's a lot less procrastination now. Also, when they are good and work hard, I tell them how good they were and how I appreciated their hard work. Another motivator is to dangle some desirable outing, and that is contingent on them cooperating. If they start getting too resistant, I can remind them of the next planned outing and how it won't happen if they don't work hard. These are strategies I use that seem to work well with my kids.
Mine is sold by "Cost Cutters" a local chain salon-- I don't like their cuts or socialization, young girls just out of school. I think blonds go grey more gently, especially when the discoloration looks blonde.Rave, wasn't it you who wondered about 0mg's purple shampoo? Bill uses it. He has very white hair, and it makes the white really white. I guess sort of like bluing for clothes? The kind he uses is Pantene Silver Expressions. It's harder to find in the stores than regular shampoo, but I stock up when they get a fresh supply. Is that the kind you use, 0mg? I tried it once, and I didn't like how white it made my hair. I'm still sorta blond with lots of gray, and I like that better.
I was getting irritated when people called me a blonde, especially with my darker eyebrows. These are the people who own the place where I live. They bought another residential motel, and moved there. Oh, yeah. Since they are self-employed, Dad wanders by occasionally, and that does help.Good luck! The kids I tutor will get a spanking from their father if they get that resistant, and they know it. I've never reported them yet, though I threatened to once with the boy. He had an instant change of attitude!
You didn't like being blond? I've been one all my life, and I like it. They say blonds have more fun. I always kept that in mind.
Hey volties. I emailed Sandy to see if she is alright. She is but she hasn't been able to login since they made everybody change their password. I told her there is a link that she needs to click on to change her password so I asked to her recheck the msg she got in case she missed it. If that doesn't work then she gave me her phone # to give to somebody in this group that might be able to walk her through getting logged in. If you can help, please PM me for her phone #.
I'm here and all caught up. I was so dumb to not see that "this page" was highlighted, and I thought they meant the page I was on. I kept clicking on Settings and would get that same page, so I thought ECF was still malfunctioning. I thought it was taking them a long time to fix it, but it was a holiday weekend. The reason I just waited was that back when I first got that message and couldn't get it to work, I went to ECF's Facebook page to get some hint about what was going on, and someone there said the site was down, so I waited.
Penny is doing fine at the new place. I think she is happy there. The boy who owns Jasmine and I rode together for the first time on Tuesday. There are some nice trails, though they aren't very extensive. One went through the woods, and there was a tiny creek to cross. Jasmine thinks she is too dainty to wet her feet, so she wouldn't cross till the boy dismounted and led her over, and then she crossed it with a huge leap. That's dangerous, because the horse can sometimes jump on you. The boy said Jasmine is a lot less spooky when Penny is along. Penny used to be like that, but after about 20 years doing trails, she has mellowed a lot. It'll be good for Jasmine to have an older horse to show her the ropes.
I hope to ride again on Sunday. We still have to agree on what time -- probably early to beat the heat. Summer has arrived here! After it being cooler than usual most of the summer, now it's turned hot. I'll be glad when it cools off again. So will the horses, I think.
Rave, I like your hair, but I, too, didn't like the black mask. I thought you might show us an angle where your head was turned away enough that we couldn't see your face. I know you don't like showing your face. I have to get my hair cut. My bangs are hanging in my eyes, which drives me crazy. Rave's hair discussion reminded me to call and make an appointment finally. Voice mail. She'll call me back, though.
I was going to go to the barn today and groom Penny, but before I got out of here, it turned hot, and all my get up and go got up and left. I'm glad I stayed home and got Terry's email, though, and figured out from her suggestion how to change my password and get back to Voltville. I missed you guys!

I hope I've caught up with everything. Whew! It sure is good to be back!
