Sitting down, facing forward.
'moaning, Voltatics.

It was 39 here yesterday and it's 37 today. It is supposed to get into the 70's later today, but yesterday we never even got to 65. The leaves are really starting to come down so I've got to get out there and do a clean-up already.

I keep looking at multi-tools but there's no way I can go with one from Harbor Freight. I'm way too hard on tools and would let the smoke out of it the first time I used it. I want to put either ceramic or marble tile on the counters in the kitchen and it would be a great way to take the backsplash off flush with the counter tops so the new backsplash doesn't have a "step".

Good morning Voltpeeps,

I knew if I mentioned I was thinking about flooring that I would get lots of good info from the peeps. Hubby says he doesn't want to do the flooring this winter but I am watching the ads in case my yellow pine flooring goes on sale for even cheaper!

Cindycated, love the tool and have bookmarked it to look into it further and for future reference.

I'm pretty sure I am going to go with the yellow pine but since I am still saving up for this project, I have lots of time to think over my options.

I do know that the carpet is dingy and the ugliest color ever so it is time to get it over with and get new flooring:)

I have a house to clean today.

It is a bit chilly here at 42 degrees but it is supposed to be 80 again today.

Spent a little time in the New Members forum last night...boy, newbs are so hard to help now. They try to grow up so fast! It's a mess over there. Seems that no matter what you try to tell them, they know better than you. Then you have newbs advising other newbs to get into sub-ohming on a 50W device. Kids today...

That's why I don't go there anymore. I'd rather spend my time at ATV (Ask The Vets) which you can do too now that your a vet. At least there newbies can't see the questions and the OP can't respond so there is no bickering or bad info given. If somebody does give wrong info some other vet will politely point it out to you usually in a PM then you can edit or delete your post. Check it out. :)

I remember being on the newbies' forum. It's the first place I went, when I didn't have a clue. There were people telling me to get all sorts of complicated mods, but I knew I wanted something simple to work, so someone told me about Volts, and that's why I'm here. I think it's important that someone is there offering good advice to those who don't know. There were all sorts of arguments started over which was the best e-cig to start with, and I faithfully read them all, but I know I'm not into winding coils or what all you folks do, so I'm stuck in newbies' world after all this time. At some point after being here, I did start to experiment with actually filling cartos with juice, and then I even tried combining flavors to see what would happen, but I never got any further than that, and I'm not sure I want to. I want something as easy as lighting a cigarette that'll satisfy. Is that so hard to get?

What ever works for you Sandy is what is best. It doesn't matter what works for anybody else. There are vets in the newbie forum trying to fix all the misinformation that other newbies say but it gets old after a while. There's just too much drama, misinformation, idiots that don't know what they are talking about and know it all's. That's why I stay away from there anymore. It wasn't like that when I first started posting in the newbie's forum but it has gotten worse over the years. It's much nicer and quieter here. :)

Twilight Zone
Good morning all. I wonder how many people have been discouraged from starting vaping because of the kind of information being passed out. When I started if someone told me I had to spend a lot of money, buy something that looks like a bomb and learn to wind coils to get a satisfying vape, I probably never would have even tried. Even then there were some trying to say the only way was a Darwin which wasn't anywhere near what I was willing to spend. I did let them talk me into a Riva kit which was ok. I kept reading and found the original Volt thread when it was almost new which was just what I needed to make me whole. I've since evolved into having the latest, greatest, newest, shiniest things because it's now as much of a hobby as anything else but I never would have even tried where I'm at now as a starting point. There's a lot more damage being done over there than good at this point I'm afraid. The blind leading the blind into the ditch.
Hope y'all have a bodacious Tuesday.

'moanin, Volties.

When I started all I wanted was something that looked like a cigarette, worked like a cigarette and didn't cost half the National Debt. I bumped into MrOutlaw and he steered me toward Volt. After the debacle of ProSMoke, very short life and high cost, Volt was the cat's meow and the dog's woof, and still is in the cig-a-like arena. I never pictured myself with something that looked like it belonged on the plumbing in a refinery, but here I am with something that looks like it belongs on the top of a cracking tower to relieve excess pressure. The amount of vapor and flavor those things can put out is amazing, but the good old 78mm with a CE3 never leaves my side, except when I shower. Being able to rebuild just about anything and making my own liquids has let me more easily afford to fool with higher powered devices plus that's insurance against the FDA.

Good morning, Voltnics.

Volt is the best cig-a-like out there and I love my Volts. Yes, I have gotten a few other shiny toys but Volt was reasonably priced and easy to use which is just what I needed to get me started on vaping.

I haven't been to the newbies forum in quite awhile but I do post there when something catches my eye.

Today is the one day I don't have to leave the house for something all week. I'm going to dig up taters and the last of the onions still have to be dug up. There's several things I could do but probably won't:)

I feel the urge to do very little today.

Today i made my first 20 bucks as a headlight restorer-man-thing LOL! I restored the headlights of the neighbour...

A yes the joy of vaping, i always recommend to use a simple device like this:

It only requires 989834813749381276973 billion adjustments to find the "sweetspot" :D :D

Quick update: My loan has been signed off by the underwriters and is on it's way to Indiana Housing for final approval before cutting the down payment check. 2 days minimum to get that back then off to the title company and who know's how long that will take.

Nic pics Trit. :)

I agree with everybody on the cig-a-likes. I started with a disposable and then moved up to a 901 which I really liked for a short while then upgraded to an ego and a Riva. It wasn't long before I got into pipe bombs and wood box mods. It definitely is a hobby with me but I've saved all my egos & Riva's for when the FDA gets really stupid. I intended to keep them to give away to smokers that wanted to quit but this is a small town and I still get funny looks. I don't think anybody knows what an ecig is. I have one switcher for my efforts but most are not interested.
