Your nearest hydrogen bomb.
I did a static test on both blue and red, the red seems to be strobing but they are still wet they have to dry first.
Blue seems to be bright blue not too deep but that's what you get with simple chemicals. Hopefully George will send me his chemicals to try out.
I have to test a few stars on a star gun because you can only see the real effect on the air and then build shells.

I would like to do blue and green strobes too, they look very nice but it requires persulphates and ammonium perchlorate. You can get them in the US but not in large quantities.
Seems like the only way to do the proper stuff is to move to japan or china or any eastern block country with less restrictions lol.
If i don't blow up i'll post videos :D :D

Whoaaa!
I just saw something vaping related that was way too progressive. They asked me something power related.
Hopefully it will go well and you will see it around.

You'll point it out if you see it in the future, I hope.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Glad to see Terry is making progress on her trip. I hope it goes smoothly and she isn't too burned out when she gets there.

We had a busy but nice day. I did sleep late, then did laundry and took care of Bo's "custom" food while Mrs. Awsum made breakfast. After that it was get chicken thighs trimmed down, remove excess fat and skin, and into some ranch dressing for dinner. Then time to get going to take Bo for a bath at Petco in Princeton. That's the nearest one with a so-it-yourself doggy wash. As usual, he was anxious to go somewhere in the Jeep, but didn't like where we ended up. He hates getting wet. Anyhow, he got a nice warm shower and conditioner on his coat followed by a lengthily blow dry, dual coat is hard to get really dry even with a blow dryer.

After we got home we had a snack, Philly pretzels reheated in the toaster oven. The all of Bo's bedding went into the wash, don't want him having dirty linens after his bath. Then I did the chicken thighs on the grill.

It was supposed to be in the mid 60'stoday, but made it up into the low 70's with light breezes and lots of sun. A really nice day. The leaves, here, are still not at their peak with lots of green still showing. Even with that I've got to take the mower for a ride again tomorrow to clean up the yard a little.

Now, I'm finally sitting down and enjoying my after dinner coffee and a nice vape. I did have to stop and fill up some stuff to vape on, but what the heck.

The landlord, his son, and another guy came tonight to kill the wasps, but they found out they aren't in the porch ceiling but living inside the wall of the house. They suggested that tomorrow night, the landlord should drill a hole in the wall and shoot the poison in. From what they said, it sounds like this will be done from inside. I hope we don't have to quickly vacate!

Afterward, the landlord was chatting with me, and I suggested getting a professional exterminator rather than endangering himself. He likes to do things himself, probably to save money, but this is a rental property. He could take it off his taxes. And I'd think avoiding getting stung might be a deciding factor, too.

He said then that this would have to be taken care of soon, since next week, he's going into the hospital for an operation. He has glaucoma, and his wife told me that they are going to put a very tiny pump into his eye. I should look this up and read about it. It sounds interesting, and I never heard of it before.

So, joking around, I suggested medical pot (I don't seem to be able to write the name they use on the news, the one that begins with M), which I hear is now legal in some states, though I don't know if it is here in NY. It's supposed to help people with glaucoma. I was kidding, anyway. My landlord is the chief of police, the last person to consider drugs that have so recently (and may still be) illegal. He said he gave up smoking, so he didn't want to start again, and I suggested Alice B. Toklas brownies. He looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. I thought that nickname was pretty common. I looked it up, and she didn't offer a brownie recipe, but a fudge recipe in her cookbook. See http://dangerousminds.net/comments/...wnie_recipe_from_the_alice_b._toklas_cookbook

Now to look up the pump in the eye for glaucoma.

I looked up that pump for glaucoma. I can't figure out just which kind it'll be that my landlord gets, but since they used the word "pump," I think it's the kind that delivers medicine into the eyeball. The other kind just seems to be a drain to take extra fluid out of the eyeball. I had envisioned it pumping the extra fluid out. I guess not. I'm not much wiser after struggling through a lot of medicalese than I was before.

Hey guys! I'm using my iPad at a motel so this will be short.

Thank you all for your congrats. The trip has gone well. No truck problems, snow or weigh station trouble. My cat has been riding in the cab with us instead of riding in my towed car and seems to be taking the trip well for 17 yrs old. We are now at Des Moines, Iowa and should get to Rave's tomorrow afternoon. Closing is set for Weds but they may move it to Tues since we are early. It took us 2 days to load the truck so we slept a couple hours in the truck and then took off again the first 3 days to make up for lost time. We are so tired and sore. I would definitely recommend Penske trucks for their price and customer service but the truck cab is terribly uncomfortable. No leg room for passenger. :(

Campi...it was so great to hear from you. Thanks for posting. I hope you'll come back again. :)

Rave....thanks for relaying info for me. I haven't had wi-fi until today and I hate tapatalk. See ya tomorrow. I can't wait. :)

How exciting that you're nearly there! It sounds like the trip is going well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the rest of the trip is as uneventful.

I had a fairly busy day. First thing in the morning, the hoof trimmer came to the barn to trim Penny's hooves. Then I rushed home to take a shower and go tutor. After that, I came home and soon started to make pot roast for dinner. Before I started cooking, I was stung twice on the leg. Somehow, a yellow jacket managed to crawl up my pants leg and get trapped in my slacks. Boy! Did I disrobe fast! But after the 2nd sting, I located him inside the pants and crushed him, so he didn't get a chance for another sting, and I just carefully inspected my pants to be sure there wasn't another wasp. This is getting impossible! And it's almost 9 pm, and the landlord hasn't come to drill a hole in the wall and spray them, which he said he'd do tonight. Instead, earlier, he was out there power-washing the outside of the house, especially around the porch, where the wasps hang out. What was he thinking? And why didn't he come this evening?
