Raven's Haven, Indiana
I'm done with outside work. I'm just going to putts around the house and hang a very special painting and a coat rack. :)

OOH! Where's it gonna go? Inquiring minds want to know. :D

Double post?? Oh well..

When i was 13 i started with Pascal, Fortran, Cobol, C but i really liked visual basic from microsoft, had a cool interface and goodies. As i grew up i gave them up except C and i got into MCU's with assembly, with the years new compilers and tools emerged so i continued on.

I taught myself to program in Basic, and then decided to go deeper with assembly language / machine code. But C Language ended up being my bread and butter back in the day.

But...but...I never fall and I'm always careful. Maybe Indiana is trying to tell me something.

It's trying to tell you to sllllooooooooow down! This is a relaxed state. Well, at least this part of it. Probably why everyone down here is so broke!

Yesterday I was tooling around your neck of the woods in town with my BF. I commented on the fact that the trees in town still have some really pretty color. He said, and I quote: "Them's town trees. They don't know no better." But the way, he may talk like a backwoods Hoosier, but he's an educated man. Just sayin'.

Ah! Just to make everyone grin:

I know what it is, Terry. The Earth's gravitational field has variations from one place to another. You're now in one of those variations which will cause instability until you adjust. (sounds good, don't it?)

Tritium, my back has had problems since I was about 30 when it went out when I sneezed. I was turning to the left while walking and putting a cup of coffee down on a counter and I sneezed at the same time. Put me right down on the floor and I had to belly crawl to a phone. I get a monthly "adjustment" now just to make sure I stay "tuned up".

 That musta been one bodacious sneeze!!

Mine bites me because of all of the heavy lifting that I did when I was touring. I'd hate to see what kind of damage I have back there. When I do strenuous work, it kills me for awhile, but after a good night's sleep it generally feels a lot better in the morning.

Got the banisters wire brushed and went through two cans of rust converter .... then I ran out. Luckily the young folks are headed to a hardware store. Hopefully they'll find a can of what I need to finish the job today. After tomorrow, the temps aren't supposed to climb out of the 30's for a week or so. :(

A chicken soup would be perfect and a few gallons of chamomile tea Lizzie.

    Good morning :)
I drink a lot of chamomile tea... So calming and soothing. If I have a cold I drink regular tea with a buttload of lemon and some honey. If it worse then a cold (knock on wood) like strep throat I take some yellow root which is a strong natural antibiotic.

True story: I got strep a few years ago (for the umpteenth time) and no insurance for going to a Dr. so Fiance said hang on I will be right back. He went to a creek we frequent and got me some yellow root and boiled it up for me. He gave me a glass and about 45 minutes later i was back on my feet. No fever but I stil had to take a couple of cups for the next day or two just to knock out the infection.

Anytime I get strep it knocks me down and out. Like I can barely crawl to a bathroom kind of sick. I love yellow root but lord almighty hate the taste. And NEVER drink it cold!!!! It will make you sick to your stomach... yuck!!!

Terry, be careful!!! You just need to take it slow.....

It's like this, Terry. The world is round, but gravity convinces us that we are standing like this I. However, when you lived in Washington, you were really standing like this /. Now that you are in Indiana, you are standing like this \. In time, you will adjust. :p

    Hiya, Raven !!! :)
I agree. My mother was raised in South Dakota. She had severe scoliosis in the upper back. I was raised in Illinois, I have mild scoliosis in my lower back. Location makes all the difference.

Gravity does vary, ever so slightly, from one place to another, but I seriously doubt that the human body could notice it or be effected by it. Just take it a little easier and enjoy the peace and quiet, Terry. I think you're over tired, and maybe bordering on exhausted, and that is why you're falling on your kiester so much.

Ok, thanks for clearing that up but I had to ask because my balance has been off lately, since I got here. It's so bad when I get out of bed that I bump into everything. I've got bruises on my bruises. I'm normally groggy when I get up but not like this.
Tiredness does it, as well as stress, allergies, blood sugar fluctuations, dehydration, salt intake, and a myriad of other things. Just an early warning system.
