Good morning, Voltpeeps,

I enjoyed reading all the Chitchat thread Christmas good wishes. I hope everyone had a good Christmas.

It is a chilly 19 degrees outside. We had a very nice Christmas. We went to Hubby's parents house for a few hours. Then, off to the casino for a delicious buffet. Hubby fed the outside critters when we got home since it was cold and dark out. That was nice.

I have to take out the trash this morning before 7am and I am not looking forwards to that cold chore. I'm sure those hairy horses are fine but I was worried about the dogs so I let them in early this morning. They are fine, too, but they are enjoying hanging out around the fire.

Okay - It looks like almost everyone had either a peaceful, relaxing, or FUN filled day yesterday . . . :) How nice is that . . .

NOW - I thought some of Ya' might find this interesting, especially since a number of people say it never really "Snows" in South Florida . . .

Well - It did for "Us" on Christmas Eve . . . ;)

Nope. The funny thing is that they are used for DC.... Tolerances and precision is very tight and micro ohms play a role.

I also got a mechanical mod today while i was getting eliquid, it's a thing with the atom sign on the bottom.

That would be an Atomo. I really like mine. But watch out. That bottom switch button unscrews every once in awhile.

That's so ironic! We were expecting 1 - 3 inches of snow on Christmas Eve into the morning, and all we got was rain. Yet you got snow in Florida!

A Belated
Merry Christmas
To All!!

I ended up going to a party on Christmas Eve at BF's family homestead in Terry's neck of the woods. Considering that I pretty much hate parties and masses of humanity, it wasn't too bad. Just not a party person ...

Since the resident younguns went out of state for Christmas and the other pair of younguns only fifteen minutes away were not feeling all that well, we had a semi-private Christmas. Our gift exchange and Christmas dinner is being put on hold until Sunday evening. But, I did get to see Terry on Christmas. :D She wanted to try my pneumatic log splitter that even a five year old can use. Then ... she absconded with it. I wanted to give her some time testing it out before she decides whether or not she'll get one for herself. It sounds as if she's already in love with the crazy thing.

It's not that often that I get an entire day all to myself, so I'm going to take advantage of it by working on the salt and pepper shakers that I couldn't get done before Christmas.

I kilt the thread!! 8-o

Well, maybe I can wake it up again. I've been working forever on these salt and pepper shakers for my BF. Whose bright idea was it to make 'em just cuz I couldn't find what I wanted anywhere? I get myself into so much trouble that way. First off: I've never sculpted before ... or worked with Sculpey ... or done anything remotely like this. But, they're baked and painted and glazed. It's too late to turn back now. Might as well just give them to him tomorrow.

The one on the left is a yellow morel. On the right is a black morel. I'll bet you can't figure out which is for salt and which is for pepper.

When I first met DW it didn't take long to figure out she was artistic. She used to make all kinds of things for me that showed a lot of work and creativity. They meant more to me than anything anybody ever bought.

Thanks everyone! I did my best considering that this was alien territory for me. I prefer working in two dimensions. Just sayin'.

Well... You can get them,
salt and pepper shakers

But there is nothing compared to making it your self.
Plus your ones look more realistic.

----edit------
This is the 666 post mwa ha ha!

Yep - I saw those in my Google search, but they look too easy to topple. While it's true that mine have short, stout bases for morels, they are very steady.

Oh no! Post 666!! 8-o
