Well - Seems it is gonna be an interesting day - as "awsum" should already know . . . Since the snow yesterday, it's warming up to a very balmy 45*, with lots of rain off and on all day until late tonight when the temp is going to drop below 30* and another snow storm arrives around here . . . THANKFULLY- I should be back in Florida by then, unless they closed the airport ONCE AGAIN if there should be too much rain . . . We'll see . . . ;)

Good morning Volties. I haven't had much to say lately, but I'm here. I think today I will try to take a walk, it looks like we have a melt in the works. Man, I'm sick of looking at this snow, it never got warm enough for a melt all winter. Water is dripping off the roof as if it were raining, YAY!

My son sent me a link to this neat picture/story.

Good morning, Voltpeeps,

You are doing your best to figure out what is going on with your horse, SandySu.

My neighbor's husband passed away yesterday. Kind of sad. He retired and shortly after that, he found out he had really rare bone cancer. Poor guy didn't even get to enjoy his retirement at all. It was a shame. And they were, of course, looking forwards to doing the stuff you do when you retire. Little road trips and such.

I have my one and one/half job today. Argh!

That is so very sad. And unfortunately, it is also very common that folk pass away almost immediately after retiring. I'm sure that much of it simply has to do with age, but I think that sometimes it's because people feel like they are "done" since their job is "done". Live for the moment. You never know ...

Sure hope that you make it home without weather glitches, Uncle. Ma Nature is having a temper tantrum lately.

Nature is absolutely amazing. Just sayin'.

Hey Volties - been out for awhile - on our annual trip abroad - I see the regular crew is still here - that is good. :D

Welcome home, Semi. :)

I've been polyurethaning, sanding, polyurethaning, rinse and repeat. The major PV holder is on the home stretch. I've also been doing a bit of designing. My build tray is always a mess of tools and bits and bobs. I'm designing an organizer that will fit on my tray and hopefully, do away with the problem. We shall see.

Your nearest hydrogen bomb.
Tritium, I ended up ordering off of FleaBay. With some luck, they'll be here by the weekend or early next week. Agway was a bust, they didn't even have cauliflower seeds.
LOL Classic, the internet is your friend.
I'll send you some watermelons and maybe tiger melon (i have 3 seeds), i also got 1000 seeds of romanesco cauliflower, you can plant it in April-may.

I also have a few seeds of this venus fly trap, it will eat bugs and flies and at the end of the season you can kill it with fire or a shotgun :D :D

Some purple tomatos and black cherries started popping up, the little mold i had at the start didn't affect them.

By the way QXRT this is the original picture.

Putin was just edited out by the Russian government.

But anyway NASA did it first.

Actually the weasel was on the bird because it wanted food (bird=food) and the bird is probably now in the weasel's belly.

Hey all, sorry i can't keep up with all posts but i hope you are all healthy.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Loved Putin on the weasel on the woodpecker, Tritium. That gave me a nice chuckle.

Marigolds are supposed to keep the deer and other vegetable garden devouring critters away.

It rain on and off all night and warmed up to37. This morning we got some weak sun and the temperature did make it to 50 but it's down to 45 again at the moment and raining again. The backyard is starting to look like the Great Lakes. The ground is still frozen so the water can't seep down so every low spot has water pooling in it. At least the ice is almost completely gone from the driveway. I'm sure that'll all change by tomorrow after the temperatures drop and it snows. We're supposed to get five to seven inches this time.

I hear mint plants are good for that too.

So I haven't been giving you guys weather reports, because it would've just ...... you guys off. "About 60°F and kinda sunny." Copy and paste every day. :p Honestly, I don't know how you guys do it. Whenever it dips down to 52°F, I'm wearing my fake furs INSIDE!

Hopefully the Moderators won't have a problem with a SketchUp image.

This is the mod holder just for my desk area. Don't count the holes.

And I bet you use up every single one of those holes, huh?
I don't understand what the problem is with showing off your craftswomanship. I'd love to see it. And who would be crazy enough to mass-produce the stuff that YOU come up with, to sell? Once is enough! I'm building a really simple one out of scrap plastic that's already driving me nuts.

Yeah - I'll fill all but a couple of 'em. And all of those holes are for PV's. Only four are four toppers without homes and only the tiny holes are for drip tips, adapters, and an inline voltage tester.

I just don't want to get in the same trouble as the person that I was talking about. No way I'd do this to sell. It's too much like work!!

Drilling holes in plastic must be a pain in the patootey!
