I agree about the dentist, Lizzie. I'm not sure what hurts more, the work or the bill. Mrs. Awsum is going in today for and initial exam and estimate. Wonder what 2nd mortgage rates are like, LOL.

I sympathize, awsum.

On top of the outrageous dental bill, the dentist told Hubby he is grinding his teeth, he has sleep apnea and he needs to see a doctor. The pony harness and cart are off the table for quite sometime along with the new flooring I have been eyeballing for a year. Oh well, at least we are still going to eat.

Don't tell me about that, i'm still a wreck inside, a friend of mine will repair me and i'll probably have to get rid one of my kidneys to pay lol.

You know what the dentist will say: You can live with only one kidney but you need all your teeth.

sleep apnea

Long Story Short, I've suffered with Sleep Apnea for years and still do, just not as bad . . . :mail:

but you need all your teeth.

Actually, Not necessarily, although her children where going to pay for them "My" mother refused to get a new set of dentures and all because she said they would outlast her . . . So for the last 4-5 year of her life she "Gummed" her food to get the nutrients out (won't mention what she did with meat - just use your imagination) . . .

What do i get with 1.34 euros i wonder?

That's exactly what I would say in a reply to their email . . . Bet there would be less emails/spam from them . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

moanin', Volties.

It's supposed to be a rainy day here today with the remnants of Hurricane Patricia, now nothing more than a low with lots of rain. I'm going to install an SSD drive in my desktop machine to replace two SATA drives that are dying a slow death from age. It's only a 500gig and replacing 750gig, but based on usage, it's more than enough. That will make that machine all SSD drives. Next step, down the road, is a new motherboard, i7 processor and a high horsepower video card for folding@home.

I would venture, from what I read, if the US had been more heavily involved in the war earlier Greece might have never fell. What a difference that would have made. Hindsight is always a great thing. Given what Greece was up against, Italy and the German blitzkrieg, the outcome was inevitable without really substantial outside help.

Happy Birthday Cindycated!

Your nearest hydrogen bomb.
Nice awsum, SSD's are a good idea, i7 seems solid enough.
My desktop is sitting on a corner with nothing on it for years, i used to keep my desktop up to date all the time (now it's a AMD Sempron) but since i had stronger laptops i abandoned it.

Birthday?
Happy Birthday Cindy :)))

You guys are so sharp! I can't keep track of birthdays. But happy birthday, Cindycated. Thanks, Awsum, for alerting us.

I cheat, I use a calendar program to track appointments and stuff.

Happy Birthday, Cindy!!!!!!!

Pony Baloney and Wiseguy are getting along fantastically. They are both being very gentle with one another. I am taking Wiseguy to the round pen this morning for some separate time from his new friend. I want them to function independently.

Pony and I did the round pen yesterday. I wouldn't say it was an overwhelming success but I do think we did pretty good.

A little grocery shopping, lunch with friends and some major housecleaning today.

Aw, thank you so much, everybody! You're the best!

Zero, so sorry - been really busy. Moving a couple of years worth of stuff from Dad's house back home, unpacking said things cuz I really need them, car issues, DMV issues, back tax issues, no-job issues, you name it. All kinda issues.

ECF's about the only place I check in at on a daily basis - if you can't reach me here, then I'm out doing stuff in a frenzy, and probably shouldn't be reached (meaning I get mean and cranky  )...

Sparassis Crispa mushroom, edible and i have no idea how to cook it lol. Has also anti-tumor properties. Also called cauliflower mushroom.

It was huge but some ......... before us kicked it and destroyed more than half thinking it's poisonous. This is what i could save.
