First - I don't drink alcohol either, but it is not where they come from - I don't like cigars . . . :(

Anyway, Traveling to Cuba or anywhere else right now is not happening . . . Matter of fact, I had to stop traveling up North every 5-6 weeks . . . Just sayin' . . . ;)

Uncle, I just saw a piece on coffee, the other day. Caffeine can help with diabetes, and a host of other ailments. Just gotta watch how much sugar you put in, of course, or switch to sweetners.

I like my coffee straight. It's not meant to be pancake syrup:)

A bit of a chill wind coming up here. Guess I'll have to stay inside.

Elk roast with carrots, celery, onions and potatoes for dinner tonight. One roasting pan and we will have leftovers for tomorrow.

If you manage to get here, Kon, you have to come out West. Yeah, you only have a couch to sleep on at our place but, hey, your out of the weather.

Good morning, Voltpuppywatchers.

The breeder says our puppy is the most advanced:) We pick him up on Monday the 18th. Can't wait.

I've been working just a little with the horses. It is cold outside. I worked inside their pen on getting Wiseguy to move his .... when asked. Pony, too. Seems like they are both doing better at that.

Wiseguy was getting a little disrespectful and keeping his .... turned towards me when ever he stopped in the round pen or in his regular pen. I worked on this in the round pen by putting him on a lead line. When he wouldn't stop when I asked him to, I put pressure on the lead line and "made" him turn in towards me. I also have encouraged him to be turning his head towards me while going around in the round pen.

I worked on the .... turning in the regular pen by asking him to move his .... around. It took a few tries but now he turns towards me instead of away from me.

Pony and Wiseguy are now being more like little pocket ponies and coming to me again. None of this chasing them around the pen to get a halter on.

I figure working with them a little is better than not working with them at all.

Also, I am concerned that I am causing the problems with Wiseguy by letting Crystal the neighbor work with Wiseguy. I think she has to go back to watching and learning for awhile.

Kon, Greece is totally beautiful and you live in an amazing city.

Hm, obviously not!
You can get alcohol anytime, even if you are 8 but you won't see any one getting drunk, kids don't drink. It pisses us off seeing tourists drinking on the street, no one does that here. It's logical for them since they can't buy under a certain age and cannot drink freely on the street in their home countries so they think it's fine here.
Locals only drink during lunch time just a little or when going out.

So when you are with a beer on your hands in day time or actualy any time of the day/night don't expect to make friends but no one will hate you either.

I think it is interesting that people who could drink anytime they wanted to, don't drink and get drunk in public.

One of the goofier things about America is it's strange Don't do this and that based on morality attitude but then lots of people seem to do whatever it to excess. I think we are an extreme people.

One thing i noticed over there is that young people wait till they get 21 and then burn their brains out by getting wasted. Not to mention drugs.
Maybe those laws do worse than protecting.

I kind of agree. Who wants to wait until they are 21 to start living their lives. Everyone is supposed to be a child until at least 21. I even saw one article mention children 25 and under. They might be young but they aren't children.

We should start expecting more from people than being children for too many years.
