im a sucker for any new gadget, and when I get into something, so does my bank account lmao! it was the same with mobile phones, mp3 players, pcs, my guitar, my chef equipment, my paranormal investigating gear...........the list goes on! but this, this is an investment thats worth it! hell, im still gonna be keeping my CE5's, see the how the Evod works out, maybe get a couple more, get a couple of pro tanks....I'm a sucker for buying things, and worse keeping the stuff ive replaced lol in my experience, its always handy to keep the old stuff as back ups! will definitely be investing in a spinner, probably in january (sale time!!!)

What lots of us do is buy a smaller VV PV like the Spinner for out and about and a larger Mod for at home. FT has some amazing prices on Mod Kits with great batteries and charger. Last one I paid $57 incl delivery for a Vamo+ 2 Panasonic 18650 batteries+ a nitecore charger. These larger Mods have separate batteries unlike eGo class batts which are disposable. Trouble is there's just so much stuff out there. iTaste VV is also very nice if you're thinking about a Spinner.
$40.07 iTaste VV 6-in-1 Voltage Adjustable Rechargeable 800mAh Electronic Cigarettes Set - CE4 atomizer at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
or
$45.16 INNOKIN iTaste MVP 2600mAh Voltage Adjustable Rechargeable Mechanical LCD Battery with iClear 30 Atomizer - blue / 2.7
Just so much stuff it boggles the mind

Edit: Also with FT I've yet to find a better warranty anywhere:

Yup, it does take a while. Don't worry. You'll figure it out in no time. The trick is to realize that vaping is not like smoking--there's a learning curve with every piece of equipment you get. The good news is that they all work, and work quite well, if you take the time to figure out how to use them correctly. I see so many newcomers who get frustrated right off the bat and just keep buying more stuff in hope that it will somehow be better. I have never owned a PV that was useless or worthless. Read and watch YouTube videos--one of the best teachers and reviewers is Phil Busardo. And of course we are here to help and answer questions.

I hope you like the eVod.

And I agree with the other posters that getting a Vision Spinner--or any other eGo-class variable voltage battery would be your next step. Variable voltage is a good thing. But first you have to find a head--or heads--that you'll like (and ejuice).

Don't worry about carto tanks yet. A carto tank is only as good as the cartomizer that you put inside. If you don't care for cartomizers, you won't like carto tanks. The cartomizers that Vapoor recommended are very nice (the Smoktech 1.7 single coil). I love my LR Boge cartomizers. If you're curious, get a box of cartos first. Or get a Boge F15 carto-tank--they cost $4 here and come fully assembled with an LR Boge carto inside. Just fill and vape.

And a video review--he's using f16--same thing, just bigger, because he's using it on his ProVari.

Warning--one bad word in the video... Sorry. But it's a good video.

That said, I've been using my Kanger BCC clearos lately, especially the latest upgrades: T3S, Protank 2 and mini ProTank 2--less hassle and I don't have to deal with that polyfill that comes with all cartos. What I still love about cartomizers, with or without the tank, is the placement of the heating coil: right smack in the center. That's where the coil should be positioned for best performance. I don't like top coils because I don't want that heating element so close to my lips and I don't want to deal with all the wicking problems that come with that design. Bottom coils are great for wicking, but sometimes I wish that that coil were a bit closer to my lips.

Good luck and happy vaping!

Vapoor eyes, what u just said is So great, can you accept me as a followers. THX!
Yeah but the difference is I don't know anyone here at ECF that has bought and tried as many PVs and clearos, cartos, etc as you my good friend and what I REALLY like about you (and Katya) is you're always upfront and honest in your appraisals of gear.

unfortunately, you'll probably need to try one of each to decide for YOURSELF what you like and do not like,,,,,

I do not like BCCs,,,,,,,I like top coil.

and I don't care for any of the CEs,,,,,,,I love the Vivi Novas though,,,,,,

My daughter, OTOH, likes what I do not like,,,,,,so each to her/his own.

get one of each, and try for yourself :)

I am another who prefers the top coil vivi novas. I like a warmer vape .Have been using them for over a year, the same ones I might add so they are cost efficient. The problem I have found with them is the storebought heads are not that great anymore and most people don't want to take the time to rebuild and learn how to use them. I rebuild all mine with 32 kanthal and 3mm silica wick. It is simple to do once you learn how. I never get dry hits and rarely have to twirl to keep the wicks wet. This has worked for me but everyone has their own way.

We're not talking much money in exchange for a good bit of personal experience. For your eGo battery, try a Mini Vivi Nova to experience a good top coil clearomizer, a Kanger EVOD to check out a good bottom coil clearomizer, a pack of Boge LR (2.0Ω) 510 cartomizers in the standard length to get the carto experience, and a 510 disposable atomizer around 1.8-2.0Ω to learn how to drip.

Do you know if they are selling the V2? I wouldn't buy the V1, the V2 is supposed to be much improved--they added the Ohm meter, for one thing.

Happy Thanksgiving to you, Vapoor, and to all our Canadian Friends!
