I think it would be fun and beautiful to do a whole yard with nothing but yellow and purple flowers. At someone elses house. I'm not good with sticking to a color theme outside. lol

Well, at least you can grow flowers, Kayte......I'm only good at weeds. Everyone's "perception" IS different though. **snort** Ha!

Oh yes, Kayte, they are very pretty and fun, too.

I sure know how to grow weeds. At one time our landscaping was mostly purple & blue, with splashes of pinks and white until the gophers took over. Now we let them eat weeds.

We have chipmunks, Tearose. Those little buggers have tunnels all over the yard, and during the spring, I watch them chase each other up and down our driveway.

Good morning, Mountain people!

Looks like will be cold today BUT dry and so the chimney flashing can be repaired and the bricks can dry out. Think we will have to do more to repair inside of fireplace which I'm not looking forward to. Plus we haven't used the thing for several years. Toting the wood up hill from the back of the property, up a long flight of stairs is a real effort.

Beautiful tips last night Kayte!

Well, I didn't even get to enjoy my birthday...ended up getting sick, upset stomach, fever, and falling asleep as soon as I got to the bf's....ended up sleeping almost 15 hours! ...And my boss and one of my good friends forgot my birthday...and I wasn't able to eat the wonderful meal my bf made for me or even have my "big drink"...overall as birthdays go, it sucked! ...But I'm feeling better today, going to get my hair done in a little while, so that pampering will help...we'll have my postponed dinner later...and I think I'll have my big drink tonight, just a day late...so all is not lost...just celebrating a day late!

Good afternoon, people! Sure is quiet today, so I'm hoping it's because it's so nice today that you all are busy enjoying being out and aboot. I"ve been listening to the roofers finishing up the new flashing and repair of roof today. Now to make sure the inside of the fireplace is up to code. Thinking about getting an insert instead. Seems like hard decisions and serious money go hand-in-hand!

Meanwhile I've been busy as a bee posting some tips on the "brag" thread. Have been too lax lately, but just how many ways can you describe "fantastic"? Ha! How does a "wordy" person run out of words?

Hello fellow Mountaineers. Welp, this is my last resort. Y'all are the only folks that will see hide an hair of the Dog Star from now on. My Ahlusion thread has been hijacked by DIY. The juice Junkies has someone there I once thought highly of, but showed her true colors. But I've always got my favorite spot here on the mountain.
I'm not on ECF much anymore, but when I do drop in for a read up on how things are going as far as regulations, I'll stop in and say howdy.
