Well, dang, Sirius! Uh, wait. It's great the Mountain hasn't lost you, but your beloved Ahlusion thread is not a good place to be anymore. I can't put my finger on it, but have noticed the last 6 mos. or more the tenor.....feeling.....ambiance has gradually changed somehow. The excitement, eagerness to help and comradery seems to be slowly slipping away replaced with more confrontation, accusations and plain ol' nitpickin'. Where is this coming from......and why?

Anywho, glad to see you'll drop by and say, "Hey!" every once in a while although I think you could pep up the place more often, but it's your nickel......nickle......5 cents. Ha!

Tend to spend more time in some FB vape groups. Squonker related mostly. Lol And I'm glad we can stay caught up on occasion [emoji6]

Good afternoon, people! Sure is quiet today, so I'm hoping it's because it's so nice today that you all are busy enjoying being out and aboot. I"ve been listening to the roofers finishing up the new flashing and repair of roof today. Now to make sure the inside of the fireplace is up to code. Thinking about getting an insert instead. Seems like hard decisions and serious money go hand-in-hand!

Meanwhile I've been busy as a bee posting some tips on the "brag" thread. Have been too lax lately, but just how many ways can you describe "fantastic"? Ha! How does a "wordy" person run out of words?

Hello fellow Mountaineers. Welp, this is my last resort. Y'all are the only folks that will see hide an hair of the Dog Star from now on. My Ahlusion thread has been hijacked by DIY. The Juice Junkies has someone there I once thought highly of, but showed her true colors. But I've always got my favorite spot here on the mountain.
I'm not on ECF much anymore, but when I do drop in for a read up on how things are going as far as regulations, I'll stop in and say howdy.

Siri - you know you're home on the mountain. I don't venture far any more either but figured that's because I don't need as much guidance as I once did and just don't have the time. Besides, it will be fun to see if Chooch runs out of words!!

We made a flying trip to Colorado Springs this morning to pick up dog food and when we got home, our realtor called with an offer on our house in MS. I think we'll counter a little but they need to move in and rent for 2 months and not too many will allow that. They are pre-approved for their loan and moving to town to run the local paper so their company is paying the rent. I think it may be doable. Keep your fingers crossed!!

I've spent the afternoon scrubbing my dresser down. Next I have to sand it. I suppose. I hate sanding.
