Ok, service has bin switched and is working, that should save us almost 40.00$ a month.I just know son is going to flip tho he wanted two outlets installed in bedrooms and the tech didn't do it.
$40/mo. is a great savings, Splat. 
Why two outlets in bedrooms? Is there a reason why tech didn't do it.......like against company policy........or have to pay extra to have it done?

Psssst I bought an extra box of ebay, it pays for itself in 6 month instead of renting it from the cable provider. Yes its the same box even comes from the same provider.
I drew the line at the modem they provided a really good one that covers the whole house well and that modem is to expensive.

Never did put a TV in the kids bedroom, but that was before all the video games and computers. They read a lot of books and now have libraries. Did with last kid put phone in (already had an outlet) bedroom and before cell phones.......Within a couple of months, took it out. Privilege was abused. Splat, you have it tougher than me in all the devices available now and kids expect it ALL. Ugh!
We bought our own modem too. Covers whole house right down to the basement. Now a days though, only has to reach kitchen and back screened porch.
