I hope you guys had a better Thanksgiving than I, my Cruiser suffered a collapsed spring yesterday during a dry burn . I'll be sending it to the Capt' soon for revival, and picking up an EGO for future dry burns, a small price to pay for Cruiser safety .

I did snatch the last Cruiser today, as a play-mate & to keep me occupied while I patiently wait for the Cutlass release. :toast: :vapor:

Sorry for the boo boo! And I was wondering how long that last Cruiser was going to be there. Glad you were able to score another. I haven't dry burned on my Cruiser and won't after what happened to you. I'll take my atty off and put it on my nemmy and dry burn. At least you'll have a backup now once you get this one back from the Capt.

Looking at mine, I would venture to say that the wires and switch are the weakest point. I don't push it. I can go down to .42 ohms on a full battery, but I have mine at .6 and it's hitting like a freight train. I'm happy with that. With Reos, the spring acts as a fuse in case of a short, will collapse. These don't have such a thing, so it's up to the user to know what they have on top. I don't know how high these can actually go, but I am not wanting to find out.

That curly tiger cruiser was elusive I saw it listed then it disappeared then it was re listed?? I don't think you included a pic of the inlay when listed live ..... Right? Because I would have grabbed that one.... I hurried to grab the other cruiser with the inlay after searching for the Tiger..? "The one that got away"!

I did see it but after I bought mine. I couldn't afford another so soon. It was a beautiful one,, and was surprised it stayed up there as long as it did.

Im at .65 it is not hitting like a train more like a baby stroller at best :)
Just wanted see whats my limits are im thinking recoiling tonight around .5
( btw i shaved off the catch cup wo touching the mod and mod my odins 510 to stick out a bit and i have a working setup now [emoji106] )

You should be fine at .5. I guess it also depends on the atty on there. I am running a Nuppin, at at .6 it's killer. My Odin on one of my Reos hits well, but I have it at .4. The bigger chambered Odin needs a heavier hit for awesome vapor and flavor.

Ahoy all, I'm back online!

I spent today running virus programs, deleting Chrome/Fire fox, re-running virus programs, re-installing broswers (this time without the malware) and backing up everything again. I don't know what I got into, but it infected my browsers too. What a pain.

Someone should start a fund to 'eliminate' the people who make their living by being professional bottom-feeders..... arrrr

HD cruisers also 10a ? Since there is no spring what happens in case of overdrawn , wires melt ?

I would expect either the switch or the wiring to melt. Better hope it is the switch as that would by far be the cheaper repair, har!

Those little springs that I used on the non-HD models usually collapse around 7 or 8 amps as I recall.

I took a couple off the website to mill down the catch cups, then took new pics and put them back up again. When you click on the mod you're interested in the next page shows multiple pics of the mod.

Ok, back to work I go. Still have computer maintenance crud to do, yuck...

OH YEAHHHHHHH..... I got my CRUISER back wow new gold leaf contact with a SPRING behind it!!! .....replaced the bottle used the 9ml VAPAGE bottle.... Used 1/8 drill bit for drilling the white cap pulled notched tube through. perfect fit, but had to connect tubing using that metal tube (supplied by the good capt) and joined them to make one long tube.

I'm sure you know this is where i got them don't know about bulk? http://vapage.com/vaporizers/v-mod/vapage-vmod-2-0-replace-4-5ml-bottle-2-pack.html

one long tube from 510 copper tube to bottom of the bottle..... drilled the cap, off center on right side of cap (as your looking at it) ..... to align better with that zip zag around the switch internals up to the 510 ..... For your tubing I used 1/8 drill bit... And twisted it in and through cap..... I notched the bottom of tube.

The notching on the bottom of the tube is to stop it sticking to the walls of the bottle when you squonk.

There are threads as far back as 2012 showing a bottle modification that no longer requires an o-ring in the top cap - the tube just goes right through the cap (trust me - takes patience) without leaking. I don't like the needle arrangement on mine and altered them.

The top battery leaf-spring looking connector collapsed flat on mine, the wires and switch are perfectly fine.

That's one he pulled down to flush the CC, it went back up ~3-4 hours later, I'm glad it was still available yesterday.

Hey Capt' B, I shipped the wounded mate today, surprisingly I received the other Cruiser today, when it arrived to the P.O. @0750 this morning, I figured a Tuesday delivery.

Right now I'm vaping a Virginia NET on another RM2 & 1.07ohm coil 1.6 ID, I really like these Cruisers, feels great in my hand and they look Sleek & Beautiful, thanks for the quick shipping, that's Customer Service at its finest. :vapor:
