In my opinion, RSMs don't get near the recognition they deserve.

No they don't. But it's spreading a little. I just happened upon them several months back and followed this forum and got in on the sale! To me, they seem better than any other wood mod out there. The feel and the style are fantastic. But, being hand made, if the word really got out, we would have a much harder time trying to score one, or a second, as many others would by jumping in on them.

Right on. My rsm goes everywhere with me. It's by far my favorite. i feel guilty taking it out every day because it's so nice but it just just works so good and feels great in the hand. [emoji106]

I can't bring myself to take mine outside at all. Not that I think it wouldn't take it, but most of what I do away from home is dusty, dirty work and I would be afraid of damaging it in some way. I'll leave the harsh environment and such to my metal Reos. This one will be pampered.

The next Cruiser or Cutlass I purchase I think I'm going to pay extra for the Pistol grip finishing ....... Has anyone done a voltage drop test on these Cruisers, I wonder what it is. Mine hits like a son of a ..... !

I don't know what the voltage drop is either, but it does hit like a monster! I'm running .65ohms, and it hits like my others running at half the resistance.

I couldn't agree more. I'm torn between spreading the word and keeping it our little secret lol

and, with all of the potential variables, I think people put too much stock in voltage drop. If it hits like you want it to, that's all you need.

I thought after seeing these mods early on, that the waiting list had to be like a year, or it would be like getting a MB Challis.... I seriouly thought it was gonna be hard to land one.....i got into the site, then i accidentally closed the page and couldnt get back in ....I NEARLY crapped myself....jk, it was stressful though. I had all these preconceived ideas of scarcity..... but I was actually able to hold onto 2 mods in my cart (for a short period of time) then choose the one that i purchased.....ALL THANKS TO *ROSCOE AND *RIVERNUT sending me the link in a PM (when i got locked out) what GREAT PEEPS!!.....what i didnt do is look back at older threads to know what to expect because that would have been smart and ummmm....yeah...no??. Cappy posted all of the mods the day before and STILL i hadnt realized ok this is my opportunity to single one out and immediatly hunt for that one when it goes live........because that would have been smart....uh huh nopeeee.......well all i can say is that it was educational and hopefully this doesnt blow up to the point that we (if i may be soo bold) "the crew" aboard the good ship RSM don't get similar opportunities in the future!!!! I was just thinking I really need to stop showing off my RSM in other threads.I as most guys inherently like to show off what we have........my Harley for example, its not enough that its chromed out to the max......I have to install 15 LED blue light clusters to accent every bit of the chrome ..lol

I'm keeping it a secret until I get my Cutlass(es) :vapor:

The Cutlass are in my sights as well, plan on getting two but won't be a hog this round unless there are a few left behind after 48hours. I think they're out after the Holidays unless the good Capt' is ahead of schedule, either way... I'll wait patiently. :toast:

BTW, the wounded Cruiser has docked and is under repair, the Curly Tiger is sporting a 1 ohm coil on an RM2, my lowest build yet, and I'm enjoying some RBFS Porch Rocker... delish :vapor: I really don't think I'll be sub-ohming with any of my B-Fs, I'm a Flavor Hound not a Cloud Chaser, and prefer smaller Atties like the RM2, Divo & Cyclone.

Yiorgo, your post was fine, nothing too long about it, you covered a couple of bases and wrapped it up in short order.

Now here is what a long post looks like, from a compatriot in another thread, and it's one of his shorter ones http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ural-tobaccos-part-deux-250.html#post14463405

Has anyone had any issues with using flat top batteries in the cruiser...... It seems like it only wants to play with AW's..... Which stinks cause I have 4 vtc5's and only one slightly deformed one will play nice.??? If I pull the bottom/positive side of the battery out a little bit it works but then when I go to snap the battery cover on.... It stops again...... Its only a problem because I only have 1 AW bat.....

** What's the battery of choice lately...... Because the vtc5's I used to get are not in stock anymore.....???

to my knowledge vtc5s are not being produced anymore not to the public anyway, i use samsung 25r s
i had the problem with my flat top batteries too, so i put a drop of solder on the + leaf (to make a little nipple)where it suppose to touch the battery that fixed my problem,
i also soldered a spring to ground so i dont need magnets anymore ;) works great....

My VTC5s are loose and I have to use the magnet. It works great that way. But most of the time I am using the AW 1600s or 2200s. No issues at all with those button tops.

Believe it or not the magnet tends to center itself and tends to stay with mod when removing battery.

I tried one of the magnets on the bottom/positive contact and it works perfectly! That must be an older one huh, because I don't have a spring on the positive side.... I don't see why the flat top Sony vtc5's aren't working by themselves...... it looks like it makes perfect contact w/o the magnet? Oh well as long as it works..... I was curious about the solder that someone used.... I'd like to see how much and where to add solder?

Edit : oh I see .... You added solder to the upper / negative contact? Right?
