The next Cruiser or Cutlass I purchase I think I'm going to pay extra for the Pistol grip finishing ....... Has anyone done a voltage drop test on these Cruisers, I wonder what it is. Mine hits like a son of a ..... !
In my opinion, RSMs don't get near the recognition they deserve.
Right on. My rsm goes everywhere with me. It's by far my favorite. i feel guilty taking it out every day because it's so nice but it just just works so good and feels great in the hand. [emoji106]

No they don't. But it's spreading a little. I just happened upon them several months back and followed this forum and got in on the sale! To me, they seem better than any other wood mod out there. The feel and the style are fantastic. But, being hand made, if the word really got out, we would have a much harder time trying to score one, or a second, as many others would by jumping in on them.
I can't bring myself to take mine outside at all. Not that I think it wouldn't take it, but most of what I do away from home is dusty, dirty work and I would be afraid of damaging it in some way. I'll leave the harsh environment and such to my metal Reos. This one will be pampered.
I don't know what the voltage drop is either, but it does hit like a monster! I'm running .65ohms, and it hits like my others running at half the resistance.
I couldn't agree more. I'm torn between spreading the word and keeping it our little secret lol
and, with all of the potential variables, I think people put too much stock in voltage drop. If it hits like you want it to, that's all you need.
Has anyone had any issues with using flat top batteries in the cruiser...... It seems like it only wants to play with AW's..... Which stinks cause I have 4 vtc5's and only one slightly deformed one will play nice.??? If I pull the bottom/positive side of the battery out a little bit it works but then when I go to snap the battery cover on.... It stops again...... Its only a problem because I only have 1 AW bat.....
** What's the battery of choice lately...... Because the vtc5's I used to get are not in stock anymore.....???
My VTC5s are loose and I have to use the magnet. It works great that way. But most of the time I am using the AW 1600s or 2200s. No issues at all with those button tops.Has anyone had any issues with using flat top batteries in the cruiser...... It seems like it only wants to play with AW's..... I'm visual can you show me what you did... Thanks for the battery info, what's the lowest ohm.. With those and are they 25 continuous?to my knowledge vtc5s are not being produced anymore not to the public anyway, i use samsung 25r s
i had the problem with my flat top batteries too, so i put a drop of solder on the + leaf (to make a little nipple)where it suppose to touch the battery that fixed my problem,
i also soldered a spring to ground so i dont need magnets anymoreworks great....

20amps continuous, thatd be .21 ohms fully charge battery if im not mistaken ,
I tried one of the magnets on the bottom/positive contact and it works perfectly! That must be an older one huh, because I don't have a spring on the positive side.... I don't see why the flat top Sony vtc5's aren't working by themselves...... it looks like it makes perfect contact w/o the magnet? Oh well as long as it works..... I was curious about the solder that someone used.... I'd like to see how much and where to add solder?20amps continuous, thatd be .21 ohms fully charge battery if im not mistaken ,
