Thanks Cappy! She arrived just a bit ago and is making a very fine compliment to the others I already have. Nothing like having your tools all organized and in the right place.

Glad you like this one! You know, one thing I've failed to do is make the desk caddy bases a set thickness. I hate wasting wood so I make the parts as thick as the wood allows so I imagine there is some variation from one to another.

Most people only own one so it's of little consequence, but some others own several. Ah well, nobody's perrrfect eh?

Ok, breaks over, back to work I go, arrr

Here's mine I just received with all the "tools" loaded :)

No surprises here, just pure perfection...thank you very much Capt' :toast:

That's a really cool little cnc btw. Did you build that yourself?

About half and half. I bought a used CNC Shark that was missing the table and gantry. I've had that little bugger running for over 3 years now and only a few problems. It's paid for itself many times over now.

Nice Collection River! What's the atty on the first RSM?

thanks :)
first from the left is the holy grail of mouth to lounge flavor chasers, Chalice 3. First on the right is the new Derringer modded for bf by chowderhead. It's much airier than Chalice and doesn't really draw like I prefer but it still offers excellent flavor and TONs of vapor if you open it up a little. Although I close it down for a tighter draw and more intense flavor. It's a warm vape too.
I've got to get me some more of the stubby drip tips that go with them....I love those things

I've been looking at making a manual 3 axis router setup to play with.

all that cnc jargon makes my head swim so that would be out the question but I think manual would be fun. What size router is that?

It's a Dewalt DWP611. It originally came with a bosch? colt router but after going through a few of them I made a bigger mount on the cnc machine and installed the 1 1/4 horse Dewalt. I have two of the dewalts and they have both had 3 sets of brushes in them so far.

I think it is a Chalice 3.

Out of curiosity Cappy when you bought the CNC was it with the intent to make mods?

Yes definitely. I had to borrow the bucks to get it but I really needed something like that.

When I first started making box mods I was just using a tablesaw and a drill press with a router bit in it. I did some crazy stuff at first, it's amazing I didn't lose any fingers, it really is.

Night all, arrr

My birthday present from my husband arrived today! :rickroll:

Yes, those are my glasses there and I can slip my phone right underneath and carry it back to where I refill and rebuild. Perfect! And there's still an open slot for another mod I've been eyeing. (Although my husband could be considered an enabler since there is a total of 8 slots!)

Thanks Capt'! It's very nicely made. :thumb:

And thanks to malkuth for ordering it. :vapor:

Ahoy, happy Saturday, arrr

As there are no desk caddy orders I spent today making more doors. I had to make a jig holder to cut out the itty bitty doors for the mini mods but managed to get it done. What a pain, I'm not making these often that's fer sure.

Many weeks to go on the batch, but at least they're going now.

Have a great weekend all
