I used a voltage meter it's not exact. Like I said about a 0.05v difference. My standalone charger gives me the same reading when fully charged. Don't worry guys it's not overcharging ;)

If by voltage meter you mean a VOM, or Volt-Ohm meter or similar, that is not accurate for testing batteries as it does not put a load on the battery. So it will show innacurately high by probably about a third of a volt or so. If that is the case your battery is likely perfectly in spec.

I meant multimeter. And, I did a comparison on a few batteries against a friend's nifty xtar vp1 and a more expensive multimeter. I'm not at all concerned my single bay cheapo xtar charger or the MOD is over charging at all.

Mine doesn't eat battery, but it does eat juice like a fat kid on cake when set at 15W.

Right! Kayfun at 14w, I'm filling every day at 11w I was every 2. And I'm dripping no different than on my mech. My Gaia hit the states so hopefully that will help in not dripping as often. I feel like I need a Magma though, they're the new thing, for now anyway...

For those who have a Hana modz clone, if I put a battery in it, can I use the USB cable as a passthrough? Just wondering, cuz I sit at my desk all day and would love the convenience of passthrough capability.

Yes and no.

You can vape on it while it is connected to the USB cable, but it's not a true passthrough charge. It will briefly stop charging, allow you to vape from the battery, and then go back to charging. It's not designed to vape directly from the USB current so it's not true passthrough.

So I've been eyeballing these things since they were announced, and decided I was going to get one. A shop not too far from me announced on FB this morning that they got a shipment of them. Called at 3:45 after I was done with work, and had them set aside a black one for me. Went and got it.

Have to say it rocks. Running my KFL clone with what should be a 0.9-1.0 ohm coil, reading at 0.8, at 16.5 watts and loving it. Nice warm vape, great flavor.

PM me the name of the shop please.

I would prefer a non-logo clone, but if there is one to be had locally that isn't too much more expensive than buying online and having to wait a month, I would much prefer to just buy locally.

This. Your power will be coming from the battery not the usb

Technical foul!!

You're technically right (the best kind of right), of course, but to most people there is no real world practical difference. If you can vape while plugged in, it's a passthrough in real world application.

Little over a week with my 101 Cana now, gotta admit i haven't used anything else, mechs are collecting dust.

A purple 2500mah Efest lasts me right around a day vaping a .8 dual at 23-25 watts.

Minus its few quirks (wake up clicks, .25mm lip on the door) its an all around great unit and EASILY worth the $70.

Hey guys, I am new to the Forums although I have been lurking around the "Attack of the Clones" for about a month now and have read it almost completely, this is basically my 4th of 5th Post ever but I figured I would share with all of you my CNA/DNA 30 Journey. If you look at the picture you will see several "Replicas" and one Genuine DNA 30 (Vapor Shark). I have been up and down and all around with all these devices 2 are from Hotcig and the last one (blue) is a Cloupor unit. Any questions.....Fire away....after a month of playing with these I have seen it all.

Quick question...what is the battery life like on the vapor shark dna30? I fully intend on getting my hands on a dna30 device at some point. Was originally looking at going with the shark but the 1200 mah lipo battery really bothered me. After reading up on battery info, I definitely want a device that take 18650s. I'm trying to resist the urge to place an order for the cana mod right now.

I said they were more expensive, but they ARE in STOCK NOW. If one was ordered tonight it would be in your hands on Friday. There's always a price to pay for instant gratification. :D

I ordered from iVape on Saturday night, and paid $107.00 total with priority shipping. The extra $37 (over the avergae presale rate) was a small price to pay considering it saved me a month of refreshing the shipping page 500 times a day. Mine is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. I'm pumped!

Had mine over 24 hours, used both vtc4 and vtc5, Kayfun 1.4 ohm, Elev8

Issues:

Up to 2-4 clicks to fire out of sleep, very erratic

Wattage goes down .1 to .2 & if I remember correctly .3 also, not all at once tho, over time

Reads ohms .1 lower, but a few times it read correctly then eventually went back down

Other than that good clone, good machining, good 510 connector, good buttons, good screws and overall it's worth the money.
