Cloupor 30W Box Mod OWNERS thread

I've had mine for a couple of weeks, and still love it. Other than the small firing button, I've had no real issues with it's operation. Since mine isn't one of the blasted finish ones, it's a fingerprint magnet. I'm constantly wiping it down, because I hate smudges. I've grown accustom to how easy it is to use, and just how powerful the device is.

I've since upgraded from the Patriot to a 22mm (21.7, actually) TOBH by EHPRO, and picked up the kayfun 2.1 While I like the kayfun, I really appreciate how the TOBH looks on this...it's like they were made for each other.

Must have a slight quirk with mine.

Even if the battery's charge is 3.5v I can't fire it below 4v without the ohms flashing (unregulated). Is this right? I tried it with the battery at 3.5v and it wouldn't fire regulated on an 0.8 ohm coil at 19 watts (3.9v).

Though the CANA reads atties 0.1 ohm lower and using an inline meter it always short on output by 1 to 2.5 watts. It the revised Cana with smaller 510. Everything else spot on, wakes and fire out of sleep with first click etc. No biggie just up the watts a bit

just check your voltage. fire above 4volts. 2 clicks above 4volts, actually. anything under, its unregulated.

Seven weeks and the CNA30 is still working well. I change out the battery at least once a day and still do not have any problems with the soft screws. The black finish is showing some wear, primarily around the top and bottom edges as I carry it in my pocket much of the time and also around the USB port from plugging it in for charging. In cigarette dollars, it has more than paid for itself and I've been very happy with it.

This. Same with me my friend. I find that "Cloupor DNA30 issues" thread to be hilarious. It's the same 2 guys having a conversation about bashing this product talking about a door that didn't line up perfect or it coming with directions that didn't list everything when it's been the best buy I have ever made.

Just thought that coz it's boost and batt voltage was 3.5 then i could have voltage 3.5 v and above. I know my DNA does this. It's no biggie TBH. Cheers.

I don't have any issues with the one I got from Elev8. Fires from sleep on first click ohm readings are right on.
To me the thread you mentioned is a compilation of things someone has read and not experienced them selves as they don't have a device to go by.
Had mine for 3 weeks and couldn't be happier.

I've been reading it, and refusing to jump in their tar pit. There will always be some people that you can never satisfy. Heck, I have a feeling that if everything was perfect on it, they'd complain about the color choices available.

Nah...not going to jump into that one.

Yeah...I got two....one from one company...it failed within a week......another from 101vape that one has had zero issues in 4 weeks. It works well and is everything I would want from this device.

Yes. I had been running my Kayfun exclusively until I got the Magma it's a real good atty and I really don't do drippers because of all the mess, not as bad with the Magma... flavor is real good too.

Side note, I was having an issue with my original CANA starting taking 3-4 clicks to fire way too often.. I talked with Elev8 and they did right by me and warrantied it out for me with no problem. I am very confident if I have an issue with this new one they will take care of me. GREAT company doing things right!

Exactly they told me the same so I'm also out of there. Just sick of a couple people on a mission to bash the mod, I like it.

Anyway back to the mod. Did all of the colors come through painted? I swear someone mentioned silver wasn't paint. Could be wrong.

I have the most recent "sandblasted" version in silver and it definitely seems like an anodized finish. If you take the back piece off you can see the finish is different than the raw stainless steel and where the two meet kind of looks like a layer of paint. Kind of a bummer since a true sandblasted or tumbled stainless steel holds up so well, but for the price you can't complain. Either way, no big scratches on mine yet.

It's aluminum, not stainless steel. But would be nice if it were SS [emoji106]

I believe volts & amps relate to power and the mAh relates to time. More mAh = longer battery life... As far as too powerful, you would have to watch the volts. I wouldn't go above 4.2v to protect the device. 4.2v being fully charged. I'm no expert, Herb but I THINK this is how it works. [emoji54]

I'm also no expert, but I know from my mech mod days that Li-Ion usually meant head for the hills an take cover. As they were not 'chemistry safe' batteries.

Not sure if that still applies to regulated mods though. You might be better off just playing it safe with some Sony VTC5's. You can usually find em for about $10 a piece.

BTW Herb, are you finally gonna take the plunge and get a Cana?

Kind of a bummer since a true sandblasted or tumbled stainless steel holds up so well, but for the price you can't complain. Either way, no big scratches on mine yet.

Gotcha thanks for that info. I have managed to scratch mine. 1 friggen scratch right on the front. I forgot it was in my pocket, put my keys in my pocket and it instantly hit me that my mod was in there. Carefully pulled out the keys and there is was.
