Tm being you asked nicely and have several chats with you before, I will. I am done posting on this thread(except for 1 last time). If The coop does go through I will publicly apologize to shek any anyone who I may have offended.
I am a hot head at times and also sometimes too caring, and am worried that alot of folks would get burned with this. Do I know they will NO I don't and maybe I was a little rough about expressing myself.
So that being said Good luck to you all, Shek good luck to you as well (and maybe you will think twice about another co-op) and like I said if this does happen I will make a personal public post in the loudest fashioned that I can.

I know I haven't been very vocal since participating in this interest finding co-op, but I felt like sharing my thoughts. Believe me when I say I am NOT trying to kiss ... to try to get in the first group! With that said, I just want to say that reading all the posts, day after day, has been truly educational. I would have never guessed running a co-op involved so much negotiating and work! The information regarding the batteries was truly informative. I learned more about batteries reading these posts then from any primer or newbie thread. Even if I don't make it in, the stuff I learned from this thread was reward enough. No worries if I don't make it! I'll catch you later on the next try. That is if you decide to host another one Shek. With all that said, for the record, I am still in and thank you so much for the opportunity to take part in something grand. I look forward to being a part, (and maybe hosting one myself), of many co-ops!

Couple things here...
1) I completely approve the small-ish initial batch, as long as they're still willing to sell the small batch for the same price. It's always scary sending thousands of dollars of unsecured funds to China, and the smaller the better for the first time.
2) I completely approve the lottery. Granted, I wasn't even close to one of the first 100, so it may possibly benefit me. Even so, this isn't actually a co-op thread. It's a feeler. Now if Shek posted in an actual co-op thread saying "THE FIRST 100 GET ONE, COME AND GET IT!", it wouldn't be fair to back off on that. But that's not what happened.
3) Shek, assuming the first 50/100 go off without a hitch, how soon do you plan on running the second/third/fourth/etc ones? Will it be once shipments arrive on the first batch, or will you wait for a few weeks to make sure the units work correctly? I only ask because sometimes things take a month to arrive from China (and sometimes they take 2 days, which is ridiculous...).
4) How do you plan on handling people that get selected, but don't pay in a timely fashion? There will definitely be 10+ people in each batch that get selected, say they're going to pay, and still haven't gotten their money order two weeks later. How long are you going to wait for these delinquent payments?

heh, some people act like they already gave money and got bupkiss... such a sense of entitlement. It's not like you are wating in line for a movie/concert in the rain. It's more kinda like a lottery, if you get lucky, you get lucky otherwise you lose nothing, but you pay for the ticket after winning. heh. The real prize is when your LT actually shows up on your doorstep, fully functioning and you take that first perfect vape.

I never said I want out. What I want is for you to do what you said you would do.
1. The unit price of the LT doesn't change, it's still $20 for just the Lavatube. But the larger the order, the smaller your percentage of additional costs like freight, T/T fees and my expenses. And I don't have any control over the Postal Service frequent rate increases, so you may or may not pay more there?

3. There's no way for me to even begin to guess as I'm at the mercy of ECF approval. So all that I can say at this point is I'll do my best to make your lives as painless and worry free as possible.
4. There'll be a time limit for remitting payment, just to be fair to everyone else.
