I have gotten them from about 10 companies so far. I am pretty sure everyone here has gotten them with all the buying frenzy lol. Here is one of them:
What can you do to combat negative press about vaping? Read inside!
Dear Valued Customers:
Over the last week we have seen great amounts of media coverage targeting the vaping industry. These stories can be separated into two distinct issues, namely lung illnesses and the flavor ban. Many of you have called us to seek our input and clarification on these stories. To this end, we wanted to reach out to you, our customers, and the public at large to provide some of the clarity you are seeking and the critical information you need to take precautions.
Lung Illnesses
The FDA, CDC, and various state health agencies are still investigating these illnesses, however there are common known factors: The lung illnesses appear to be caused by THC vape oil, not nicotine e-liquid. The FDA has also pointed out that the products they tested contained significant amounts of Vitamin E acetate. Vitamin E acetate is commonly found in topical products, like lotions, but this additive is allegedly being used to thicken THC oil in an attempt to make this illicit product more vapable.
We will be watching these stories closely as the investigations continue. As of now the FDA has issued a health warning only for THC products and those products not purchased from legitimate stores.
As you all know, the products sold on this platform do NOT contain THC oil or THC mixed with Vitamin E acetate.
As a consumer or retailer, you should listen to the advice of the FDA in this case:
1. Avoid buying vaping products of any kind on the street
2. Refrain from using THC oil or modifying/adding any substances to products purchased in stores.
Flavor Ban
The next topic that is important to us and all of our customers is the Federal Flavor Ban. On September 11th, the heads of the FDA and CDC held a press wherein they confirmed that the proposed flavor ban was due to an increase in youth use of nicotine vaping products. This is an important distinction as connecting these two issues (the lung illness and the flavor ban) could further mislead the public to incorrectly believe that nicotine vaping products are the cause of the lung illnesses and tragic deaths.
Flavored nicotine eliquid makes up approximately 98% of the vape market. The reasoning is clear, adults like things that taste good (not just teens). Up until 2018, fruit flavors were the most popular flavor on the market among adults.
In moving forward with this ban, President Trump and the FDA will be putting about 15,000 vape businesses in this country at risk of having to close (of which approximately 12,000 are small mom & pop retail stores). Hundreds of thousands of hard-working Americans will likely lose their jobs. Most importantly, this ban will mean YOU and millions of Americans, like you, will lose the flavors that you used to switch from combustible cigarettes to vaping.
