With 3 mod boxes coming if I only screw up one of them I'll use the Lavatube innards to build another... I already have the DNA20D and charger in my possession, it's a matter of sourcing everything else now...

Anybody ever use the shorty 510 connectors with a nut as battery connector? I am thinking that and a tooth washer would hold tight without epoxy mess...
Thanks Tmassey. Do you find that the connector threading holds up well? I don't want to spend 100 bucks building a prototype mod to have to replace them all the time, but the nut connector make this more palatable.

I actually just got a bunch of the 18650 Lambos from a friend of mine. like 12. some have issues withthe center pin and some of the others wont read a battery thats charged, saying that they are only 2.8v. one of them, i think it working, went thru a torture test via baseball bat. it still works!!!!

Traveling right now, but will put a pick up of the cases I bought. I would gladly take the tubes off your hands if you dont want them and are giving them away. I have a good Lavatube board with a bad tube.
Awesome. i have one too thats good board bad tube. the device was torture tested with a baseball bat. if i send you a few, could you mix and match mine to get the good board into a good tube? ive got like 12 tubes that i can send ya. Some of the boards will only read a battery at 2.8v, even tho i stacked 2 18350's to be double sure...... others have issues with the center pin being stuck inside the pipe section they are in......
