Chad here in Phoenix has 'em:
M-601/602 Kit

He'll take care of you for sure. He'll ship as fast as the holidays allow...

I was chatting with him at our meeting here this last weekend, he hopes to get in the parts for the 601 soon, along with adapters. I want to try the 601 myself, since I use the 401 and 306 for dipping, but I prefer using battery mods for power, so I'm on hold until some stand-alone attys and adapters appear.

I have a 510 on the way from Cignot. My gf is going to be using the 510 predominantly and her mother is buying a bulk kit of atty's for her x-mas. So I think I'll just use the 601 on the road and have a 510 setup for home use. Manual batteries burn through the juice fairly well. It's the automatic that caused the problem, and I know it. Just doesn't get hot enough with the cutoff etc..

M601- Good piece, it really is. A few setbacks but eventually it'll work through it.. like it's been said many times atomizers are basically disposable. I'm still spending less than / equal to the amount I did on analogs. That's fine by me.

I really like my 602 thus far, but it's got a real stiff draw on it. I thought it was just that my atty was a bit fouled, so I did the crest mouthwash rinse trick on it and that didn't solve the problem. I fiddled around with it and realized that the problem is that there are only two tiny holes on the backside of the atty where air gets drawn through (the side of the atty that screws into the battery. I busted out a 1/16" drill bit and widened one of the holes (VERY CAREFULLY) then rinsed the atty to get all the metal bits out of it. The draw is much easier now, and I'm considering drilling out the other side to see if that makes it perfect for me.

Anybody else have this problem?

I got a PCC on the way fitted for M601 batts. ....

WHERE did you find a M601 PCC? I want one. That's the *only* reason it hasn't become my full time "out of the house" PV. Even though I do carry it with me when I leave. Along with my KR808. And sometimes my 510. Hey, it still takes up less space than 2 packs of smokes did...

I assume the 602 from absolutelyecigs and the 601 offered by electronic-cigz.com are essentially the same? They definitely look the same. They didn't have a 601 series PCC at AEC when I put in my original order....

If so, I'm gonna pick up one of the 601 compatible PCC's they have at absolutelyecigs, since they owe me a replacement battery anyways. $20 for a PCC there, instead of $30, although I'll probably have to wait longer for shipping. Guess I'll go ahead and order some atty's while I'm at it.

Thanks for the heads up!

Are the universal chargers shown here http://www.healthcabin.net/universal-usb-charger-product-7384.html compatible? They snap fit instead of threading together so the different threads wouldn't be an issue. Other models are listed including 510 (which is almost or exactly the same diameter). If this works it is a lot cheaper than the original. The PCC looks like it would be convenient and if it doesn't quite fit the manual 602 it should be really easy to file it down in the right place to accept it using a file or something similar. Buying a second kit is the same cost as buying 2 batteries and 1 atomizer not to mention the extra charger which will allow you to charge several batteries at home.

I just found this thread:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...2976-powerpal-601-pcc-compatible-w-602-a.html

Looks like the manufacturer is stating that they are not compatible. :-(

I am guessing that it's just a matter of being able to fit in the manual switch, since (as best I can tell) the charging circuit for all the batteries I've tried so far (510, 901, 808, 602) all seem to be 5v and all the "brains" are built in to the batteries' charging chip. I *should* just order an extra "universal" charger and have a buddy of mine take on a woodworking project to build me a sweet universal PCC. Hmmm...

If I build it right, it could have a usb host port on it that's powered as well so I can plug in my iphone or usb PT to operate off of it as well. I'd be willing to live with something a little larger than the current PCC's out there to get more functionality out of it. Definitely an idea to mull over.

I hadn't even thought of the LED flashlight. That'd be cheap and cheery to add to the device. MP3 player... not so much. Hell, while I'm at it, I could probably throw a thumbdrive in there too, but I that'd end up just being overkill. Come to think of it, I *know* I wouldn't want to do that because I want there to be NO data whatsoever going over the inbound USB connection... just power.

I bet that this ends up being YET ANOTHER project that gets about 90% done, then languishes unfinished until a commercial variant of the same product is available. Whatever...

If someone made 510 style carts for the 601-602, wouldn't the juice be less likely to get in to our mouths? The 2 holes on the atomizers could be a little larger or it could have 4 the same size. Lining up the holes on the atomizer with the ones on the battery doesn't allow enough air flow and sometimes leaves the atomizer and battery connection loose. Maybe 4 holes instead of 2 could make the draw a little easier.

I don't get juice in my mouth ever (maybe you are over filling your carts) oh and like every 3rd time you refill the cart run a qtip around the inside once you've taken the inner cart out.

I purposly don't line up the atty/ battery holes, I just screw it on tight. gives better vaper but yes a very stiff draw no matter what you do.

I've also heard of people widing the holes on the atomizer with a drill, supposed to improve draw stiffness.

My big problem with this model is i can't get an atty to last more than 3 days. I have heat-n-kleen coming in the mail and hopefully that will resurrect them.
