It's a fun rta, at least I think so. It's a bit different to wick than my Lemo's and now my new Big Buddha mini are, not harder by any means, just a bit different to get used to. You'll have fun getting it going, I know I did, now I have 2 (1 Stainless and 1 Black).
Awesome! I got mine in stainless my friend got his in black. I was lucky to find an ECF member who had one, woo hoo! If I like it as much as I think I will I will definitely get one in black to go with my P3 Stealth

Push your tails down the juice channels and when you see then cumming out from the bottom ring just gently push them back up with a toothpick or very small screwdriver until you cant see them below the ring. It works all the time for me. :vapor:

My dual coil is hitting not so good. Getting some really bad dry hits. Someone please share a picture on how to wick this with Rayon. Felt like I did perfectly only thing is maybe not put enough wick tail in the channel, there is barely any in there. Also the wick ring I feel like if I dont use it the tank will work better.. right now im using but its a pain to get on and off. Frustrating but the first about 40-50 puffs were quite good until a vaped the primer juice off the wick, then nothing but dry hits like the juice isnt circulating and hitting the wicks so they can get rewet.

Would be great if anything there was a beginners wicking method just so people like me and Quantum can try our Cthulhu's without dry hiting. Something really simple. I tried Thayamax's angled trims with the Rayon to trim 50 percent of the wick, then I proceeded to trim a little more just leaving a few strands going into the juice channel(barely none at all)

I think I am going to give some Organic Cotton a try because if Rayon isnt perfect most of the time your in for dry hits. I have some Drago Egyptian cotton that may be more forgiving.

@Chris863 I never have a dry hit problem with my Cthulhu V2 using rayon. I even had to turn my juice flow ring way back because I was getting too much juice flow. I never take the wick ring off (mostly because it won't come off ). I use the angle cut and trimmed tails then just barely tuck it behind the wick ring with nothing showing in the juice channels. Try doing it with the wick ring already in place.

Please don't Dremel out the juice channels on the Cthulhu V2. Enough of us run it just as it came from the Factory that I know that it has to be the wicking on yours. It is a learning curve to get it wicked right as some of us get it right with just a little experimentation, and others have to work at it for a while, but don't take a Dremel to it as you really don't need to do that, just keep practicing you're wicking, and read thru this Thread from the beginning to pick up some tips on different wicking methods, as there is surly one that will work for you. I even tried the Dual coil deck once, I usually just do a single coil (even on my Magma's) and got it right the first try with the wicking. YES though, I agree with a training video for wicking, I would have found that a HUGE help for myself also, instead of trial and error like I did in the beginning over a year ago. I went to a Thread Wick and Wire here on ECF and got pointers from all the pic's that they had in that thread, it helped immensely for me (that was with Cotton and Ko Gen Do Japanese Cotton), but Rayon is another animal altogether, but there is a Thread for that also Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2.

i've never used rayon, but with cotton i only got a dry hit once, on my very first build...i just jam the cotton right behind the wicking ring, on the dual post deck. no cotton in the channel below the ring, i pull it up just a little from above. works perfectly every time.

You might have gone too far on the trimming. Try it Exactly like thayamax did and see if that works out for ya.

Also, if you 2 are Chain Vapors, you will have to modify slightly you're wicking from what most do it to. I don't chain vape except for maybe 3-4 in a row, not Majorly Chain Vaping here though, and I use KGD in my coils, I guess I'm too Lame to be able to use Rayon successfully in an RTA, Drippers YES, RTA's NO for me.

    Ditto!

I'm also having issues wicking my Aromamizer and Crius. :(

Could it be that I use Max VG with organic cotton? If so, what wicking material is better?

I saved the thread. As soon as my home internet connection is working again, I will read it.

Bring some cookies and milk, then a breakfast burrito, then after that a brown bag lunch, after that Order out, then more Coffee. It's a very Long thread you see.

:D You're in some of the same tank threads as I am, so I wanted to make sure others in those threads got the info.

It did seem like I was stalking you, didn't it?
