Really? I'm struggling to turn the juice flow control ring, which is directly above the air flow control ring. I'm a bit dissapointed, it's a good tank, but nothing special, just standard nowadays. It's another nail in the coffin for high end overpriced authentic attys, which is the best thing. Just wicked it like an erlkonigan, which is were they probably got the idea for that pointless ring that clamps around the wick.
Can't see myself spending on any new attys in the near future. 26650 vw mods.... That's where I'm heading

Yep, Tight JuiceFlow Control Ring and Loose AirFlow Control Ring seems to be about the Norm, with exceptions of course (prolly more than being reported). That being said, I Do Like Mine, Alot.

Mine is the same way, others have reported this also.
I've just got one of these today. The afc is loose, like there's nothing to set it or lock it in place, just touch it with finger and it spins open/closed. Have I got a faulty one, am I missing something or do they all do that?

Yeah my juice ring is super tight and airflow is really loose. The airflow ring doesn't bother me once it is one a mod but I just set the juice flow open all the way and then just cover the wicking channels completely with cotton and it doesn't leak when filling. It just takes some getting used to.

My AirFlow Control is BY FAR, the loosest of any Clear-o (5), RTA (9), RDA (6) that I own, but once on my Device it stays set, right where I put it. It's either in my back pocket, belt holster, or in my hand (mostly my hand) and it has never been knocked out of adjustment. That has surprised me, but it is the truth, so those concerned about it being TOO loose, don't let that 1 point be you're deciding factor. Ordered my SS version of the V2 on Sept. 9, received on Sept. 28, and have been using it daily ever since, and liking it ALOT (single coil deck only so far).

Ok I've got it, first impressions it feels substantial and seems well built.

Threw a build in and topfilled without closing the juice flow, got juice all over my hand. I noticed I was getting dry hits and not much flavour so I took the deck out and set the coil lower, cut away some wick and it seems to be better. Love being able to remove that build deck it makes such a difference.

To follow up on a build I did on Oct 18 (https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/f...the-velocity-rda.695111/page-43#post-16730198). I have re-filled (Close Juice Flow Control Ring, Close AFC, Unscrew Top, Fill up so that air bubble almost disappears, screw Top back on, flip tank upside down and wait for bubble to go up to juice feed slots, open AFC then Juice Flow Control, Install back on tank) this tank about 5 times with NO leaks or dry hits. For anyone New to this Cthulhu V2 then this is ONLY One Way to get it up and going if you vape similar to the way I do.

Thanks crompers, that's the hardest thing for me to remember (closing the juice flow control ring) also, since this is the first RTA I have had to do this with. I'm Old and learn Slowly, but I'll get it after my water bill goes up from washing my hands all the time from the juice leakage.

The juice flow control, for me, was a giant PIA. I took out the inner ring and just bottom fill. No leaks and juice waste.

Yeah, I did that once when I had the deck out of it to do a re-wick, I figured that with the tank already upside down, why not top it off ? It worked slick as a whistle. A very versatile tank.

OK I'm still getting the hang of this I think, I seem to be leaking a bit from the juice flow ring, and then this morning walking to work it just had a meltdown and chucked juice all over my hand. I closed the juice flow off while i was walking to work and that has stopped it.

Put it on my desk and opened the juice flow, seems ok at the moment but its not being moved about I guess. I think I may just need more cotton, problem being if I put too much in I know I get dry hits, must be a delicate balance.
