I'd say you are paying 2x more for the very same thing... shipping... but the other way around.
It comes down to is what percent chance do you have of receiving the goods using a given method. My opinion is mailed directly from a supplier in China in the long run you will loose more than you get in. You can win at the Casino, but in the long run...
I like supporting Canadian suppliers, because I believe it's important. Most do an amazing job and they work hard to provide the things we crave.
That being said, I think you are way out of line painting this picture of doom and gloom when it comes to importing from China, and it seems to be an ongoing theme.
I'm not sure what you have experienced, but applying the same likelihoods of seizure for a supplier and a consumer is like comparing apples and watermelons. It's just not the same. What I do know is the end consumer will receive their goods more often then not, and this notion of paying 2x the cost because of shipping is absurd. I guess if you order one 30ml bottle at a time that might be true (actually, it would be around the same if you didn't charge any tax - $18.99 + $8 shipping $26.99CDN vs $9 + $15 shipping = $24USD), but no one orders from China for one bottle. When I order, it's normally 9 or 10 bottles and shipping is between $12 and $15. So even at the high end of shipping, you would be paying $10.50 per 30ml bottle.
So let's work that out. You sell your liquid at $18.99/30ml. Given your free shipping over $100, that would work out to $189.90 plus applicable taxes as I believe you are also in Ontario. That would work out to $212.69CDN versus $105US from China. At todays conversion rate that would be $112.09. So if I decided to purchase my 10 bottles of 30ml liquid from you, it would cost me $100.60CDN more (or $77.81CDN if you didn't charge me tax). Hmmmm, $100.60 worth of value add? If you dropped your prices and stopped trying to scare people into purchasing from you, I would certainly consider buying from you in the future.
On a positive note, we are starting to see some traction on pricing which includes pricing that matches up quite well with the US and even comes close to China. I was recently looking to purchase some bulk attys and found that Happy Vaper's bulk atty discount combined with their 15% discount code works out to around $7.6 CDN per atty. I think I see 10 new attys in my near future

I have a Prodigy V2 and I can't decide if I want the silver with the narrow gold band or silver with the wide gold band. Maybe I'll just get 5 of each.
