ok i have tried to find out if mt baker vapor uses diacetyl in their flavorings, i have not e-mailed them.
i am using their butterscotch flavoring DIY.
i dont sub ohm below .7ohm i usually run a 1.2-1.8ohm coil for everyday vapes.
when i do sub ohm which isnt that often usually when i wanna show off..lol..
with the diacetyl hype recently i kinda wanna know what the hell im putting into myself and now i find out that my favorite flavoring may contain a chemical when super heated may be harmful once again although not as harmful as SMOKING

It should also be worth noting before you start to panic that tobacco has diactyl in it and at much higher amounts.

Wanting to know what is in eliquids or in flavorings is not panicking.

It's a completely acceptable consumer question. You pay for something, you should be able to ask questions about it.

this is why i wanted to start diy i dident like the food coloring that was being adden to e-juices

and, as a consumer, you have every right to ask if your elqiuid has dyes. Some flavorings have dyes as well, please be advised.

There are 3 acceptable answers to these questions:

Yes
No
We don't know

Any of these 3 answers are acceptable......... as long as they are honest.

Otherwise, it would be considered fraud.

For now, the point isn't that it has AP or DA, or a dye, etc. It's just that as a consumer, you want to make your OWN decisions, and you can't do that w/out Yes, No, or We Don't Know (honest) answer.

I don't see answering a simple question as a big deal? If they don't know, just say that.

Although I mostly vape DIY juices, the quality of commercial e-juices is also very important to me as I sometimes buy to taste different recipes.

After reading so many conflicting reviews, warnings and claims, I am not confident with any vendors. It is frightning. We need to support standardisation in labellling of e-juices.
