ive never even heard of them, let-alone seen anyone try to defend them from people unable to buy/unwilling to buy them. never heard of them in my life, what's so special about them anyway, build quality? Other than build quality, i cant see why it'd be a popular mod... There are PLENTY of mods on the market that LOOK a LOT better than this & have MUCH better functions. Is it made in the USA???

I don't get why it'd be all that popular, but, i'm sure it's a nice mod when held in-hand, right?

Its made in Germany and, I assume like other dicodes mods, will be beautifully made. The temp control of the dicodes chip is, in my opinion (and Busardo's..) the best available and I have them all! Just to say Dicodes were the first to provide user defined TCR over the entire range.
Which are the mods with MUCH better functions by the way?? And I doubt any of those were made in the USA....

ps. I dont include being able to connect your mod to a PC as a major feature although many migfht. I have DNA200 and have connected it precisely twice...

@Plumes.91 simply put it's a german made mod with Provari like build quality and all modern technological options (boost, tcr etc.) and than some...also very accurate...and 2 years warranty....

So in my opinion it surpasses Yihi in build quality and Provari in options, and both in warranty...at a similar price point...so that's a winner for me...

Yeah @TheBloke did a lot of testing and agreed it was by far the most accurate too

I would have bought one ages ago but it was sacrifice a one piece tube or sprung loaded 510

I could not have my cake and eat it .... Now I get it all wrapped up in a box

And as mentioned above they match the varipros with the build quality of German engineering

Along with all the tech you expect in a good mod these days

FW upgrade is not an issue as I don't expect them to need it as they shoot engineers for such failures there :D

Good news @Lemwise! Looking good in blue! (mmhh maybe I should think a bit more about my color choices :)

I just received a note from my supplier that they did not receive more Dani Boxes today.....my GF also should have recieved her Provari today...but the weather played havoc on the postal services :-(
So we have to wait a bit longer on our goodies.

Good thing I have patience :)

I don't need it that much that I will allow a vendor to display in stock take my money then not deliver in a timely manor , certainly wont wait to see if they restock at the weekend

If they put a pre order date I may have still purchased but its the principle now

You are 100% spot on with this, when I Ordered from the same Vendor on the 29th December they were shown in stock !
2 days later they had changed the page to show availability from appx 10th January !
Not heard a thing from them apart from the order confirmation on 29th
I will wait till 10th to see what happens !
Pretty Shoddy service but I dont think anywhere else has them in Stock ?

Well it's not so true I'm saving money 4 months now to buy it lol [emoji4]

Guys I have a question... In the dani box menu when we are in TC mode, can we change the temperature coefficient value of the wire by 0.1? Because as I saw only by 0.5 we can...For example I want to set a value for SS 317L wire at 0.00088 but I can't...

I would say try to get near as possible to the value found. You may have a little offset on the temperature but not that much. Did you have the coefficient by the manufacturer or you calculated with the given formula in the manual ?
In the manual it's indicated:
Note that stainless steel wires and also titanium wires often have not well defined coefficients, depending on their exact alloy composition. Hope that can help.

Congratulation for your new dani box ! :thumb:

Do you have any information on your coil package ? If no, as per dicodes it's about 105. But it's depend of the manufacturer.
I think that better use ni200 or nife. ;)

If it can be of any help: http://www.dicodes.de/upload/Application Note for temperature controlled vaping_V2 16052015.pdf

The values of the predefined wire-types are 320=dicodes-wire, 620=Nickel, about 105=Stainless Steel, 350=Titanium (varying literature values, danger: fire harzard), 440=Tungsten (Wolfram).
For others:
Value to select = Literature-value*10E5 K.
But without any manufacturer values it's hard to calculate !
Example: Ni 6.2E-3*1/K * 10E5*K => 620

Good luck !
