Different nic-cartridge wicking material?

Has anyone tried anything else? A cigarette filter? How hot does the atomizer get? Some kind of sponge? What is it now--wool?

It just seems that I have to fill my cartridge up too often, that the juice is not wicking up to the atomizer from the mouth end very well.

There are several extensive thread on this subject. So far, no one has found a killer replacement for the spun poly wicking material.

Tag searches can work pretty well. The threads about cartridge fillers are tagged 'filler'.

But that's the problem with a sponge....it will hold the liquid. I mean, how much juice would you have to put in there for it to leach down? I just don't see sponges as working well for leaching. Of course, this is speculation....I've never tried it myself.

I decided some of my carts were getting a bit manky so I went to the local fabric store to buy some batting.

40 cents for a 6 inch by 3 foot piece which looks like it'll fill about 1000 carts. This hobby is sooo expensive 8-o

Wow, that worked! I just refilled one of the carts for my Dura and once it had soaked up about 2 gallons of liquid - those carts are *big* - it's vaping like a brand new unit. 40c well spent
