So here is the Big Question: Even if there are currently No Reported Incidents of Never-Smokers who are Vapers using High Diketone levels who have Lung Damage, does this Mean that Diketones in High Levels can Not Cause Lung Damage?
?those that have lung damage won't get it?
i think you left a 'no' out of there somewhere.

eCigs can't be vastly safer if vaping diketones is greatly hazardous.

If vaping diketones is significantly hazardous, while inhaling diketones from smoking is apparently not so much, then arguably vaping is more harmful, on at least one count, than smoking.

Imagine that.

Also since OP has dropped the ball and there hasn't been much discussion it might be time for people to give final conclusions about DAP.
I personally think it's more healthy to monitor how much you vape (and cut back if you can) than what you vape unless you happen to have some allergies.

I think having the ability to choose from a lower flavoring ratio as you do for nic level would be a good option.
You always have that option. Buy (or make) some unflavored in your preferred PG/VG ratio and nic strength. It's dirt cheap, like $40 per liter. Use it to dilute your store-bought liquids.

I found (somewhat by accident) that I actually prefer many store-bought juices "cut" about 50% with unflavored.

You always have the option from the manufacture ? Now "you" the buyer would have to take into account for the lowering of the nic level and buy / store other "liquids" products.
I just meant instead of them just giving the option to add flavor shots you should have the option to lower the flavor also .........

Using my method, there's no lowering of nic level. The only thing my method lowers (aside from the strength of the flavor) is the cost of your juice.

I can read it and I'm not registered. I don't know why people can't read it. Here's a nice quote, "Talbot, who conducted the cinnamon flavoring study, said the problem is that people are now 'inhaling a product into their lungs, and we don't currently know what the consequences or long-term health effects of that will be.' While it is true, she said, that e-cIgs contain fewer chemicals than the brew of 7,000-plus that are in traditional cigarette smoke, "it would only take one bad one."

Here is another site with the same article.

Nicotine isn't the only hazard to be found in e-cigarettes | The Daily Republic

It just shows that, even though diketones have been known about just about as long as vaping has been around, this is an issue that will only gain more attention until people realize that its an unacceptable risk. It won't be glossed over or ignored. It will have to be dealt with.
