Mostly it was like a throat hit from Freddy Kreuger, lol! I'd like more of a throat hit that didn't feel like I was going to die from the throat out. Although I also realized I was screwing up in trying to vape exactly like I smoke, so....

Silly me, I thought you were trying to get MORE throat hit! :D Because until I got my Achilles, that's what I was running around constantly trying to do! :D

TH is weird, because a great many smokers that switch to vaping want lots of it... but as time goes by, at least for me, it slowly grows less and less necessary -- which really is a good thing, like all the great flavors, because if you get used to Strawberries and Cream or something equally sweet and creamy, without that huge hit to the throat, then if you ever did try another cigarette, you'd be like 'OWWW!' as soon as it hit your throat, without even waiting for the YUCK! that comes right after.

If I have them adjust the PG level of my juice, do I have to let it steep?
I DIY my juice. I think high-VG juices benefit from steeping more than high-PG juices. The flavorings tend to be a lot more soluble in PG. That's not saying don't do it. Try it and see. But I question how much it will help if PG is 50% or better.

I agree; I use 85% PG as I said, and I always use a lot of flavoring; the only ones I steep at all are the ones with a significant amount of tobacco flavoring -- and some, taste fine right at mixing, but the tobacco part of the flavor gets richer, the longer it sits.
