After smoking for 42 years, the hardest part for me was making the monumental decision to quit. Quitting just seems so HUGE and impossible. So I didn't make the decision. LOL. I just started vaping. I still have a regular cig occasionally, just because I can. But initially I started vaping as a supplement to smoking, not a replacement for it. I guess I'm lucky. Almost immediately I preferred vaping for so many reasons. And when I do have a regular cigarette, I don't like the taste. There's just something about the pull or drawing on it that satisfies me. Anyway, I only started vaping in early February, but the best part for me is I didn't have to steel myself to make this huge decision and it's just kind of happening naturally. I started at 30mg of nicotine and tobacco flavored juice, but as soon as I made the switch to other flavors, I really never went back to tobacco flavoring. I've tapered off to 12 mg of nicotine without too much trouble. I even have some juice at 0 Nicotine that I use at the office. So I guess for me, the habit is as hard to break as the addiction. But getting there.
